Sarina Joos (born 24 June 2006) is a Swiss-Italian figure skater who now represents Italy. Representing Italy, she is the 2024 Italian national champion.
Representing Switzerland, she is the 2022 CS Warsaw Cup silver medalist. On the junior level, Joos is the 2022 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival bronze medalist and a two-time Swiss junior national medalist (silver in 2022, bronze in 2020).
Joos was born on 24 June 2006 in Zürich, Switzerland to an Italian mother and Swiss father. Her younger sister, Noemi, is also a competitive figure skater. [1] [2]
Debuting at the 2019–20 Swiss Junior Championships, Joos won the bronze medal. [3]
Making her first appearance on the Junior Grand Prix series, Joos placed eleventh at the 2021 JGP Poland. She then went on to win the silver medal at both the 2021 Tirnavia Ice Cup and the 2021 Merano Cup. [3]
At the 2021–22 Swiss Junior Championships, Joos won the silver medal behind Kimmy Repond. She ended the season by winning a bronze at the 2022 European Youth Olympic Festival in Vuokatti, Finland. [3]
Competing in the 2022–23 ISU Junior Grand Prix series, Joos placed seventh at the 2022 JGP Czech Republic and twelfth at the 2022 JGP Poland II. She made her senior international debut in September at the 2022 CS Lombardia Trophy, where she finished seventh. Joos went on to win the silver medal on the junior level at the 2022 Ice Challenge as well as her first medal on the senior level – silver at the 2022 CS Warsaw Cup. [3]
Joos ended the season with a bronze medal on the senior level at the 2022–23 Swiss Championships behind Livia Kaiser and Kimmy Repond. [3]
Following the season, Joos made a coaching change from Gheorghe Chiper, Zoltán Kelemen, and Kelsey McNeil to Linda van Troyen and Sindra Kriisa. [4]
This season, Joos and her younger sister, Noemi, decided to start representing their mother's native Italy. [5] [2] She made her international debut for Italy at the 2023 Tallinn Trophy in November, winning gold, before going on to win gold at the 2023 CS Golden Spin of Zagreb. In her first appearance at the Italian Championships she claimed the national title. [3]
Assigned to make her European Championship debut at the 2024 edition in Kaunas, Joos came sixth, including a fifth-place finish in the free skate segment. She said she was "so incredibly happy. I am glad I could show what I do in practices." [6]
Joos finished fourteenth in the short program at the 2024 World Junior Championships, but rallied in the free skate, coming fifth in the segment and rising to seventh overall. She said it was "great to be here with such a big Italian team." [7] She went on to make her senior World Championship debut, coming twentieth. [3]
Joos began the season by competing on the Junior Grand Prix circuit. She finished tenth at 2024 JGP Latvia and at 2024 JGP Czech Republic. Going on to compete on the senior international level, Joos finished fifth at the 2024 CS Nepela Memorial and fourth at the 2024 Tirnavia Ice Cup. [3]
She withdrew from the 2025 Italian Championships in mid-December. [8]

Ivan Righini, previously Ivan Vadimovich Bariev is a retired Italian competitive figure skater and current choreographer. He is a two-time Bavarian Open champion and a four-time Italian national champion. He has reached the free skate at four ISU Championships, achieving his best result, sixth, at the 2016 Europeans.
Lorraine McNamara is an American ice dancer. With her skating partner, Anton Spiridonov, she is the 2023 World University Games silver medalist and 2022 CS U.S. Classic bronze medalist.
Lutricia Bock is a German figure skater. She is the 2014 CS Volvo Open Cup silver medalist and the 2016 German national champion.
Léa Serna is a French figure skater. She is the 2023 CS Budapest Trophy silver medalist, a two-time International Cup of Nice champion, and a three-time French national champion (2021–23).
Kristen Spours is an English figure skater. She has won fourteen senior international medals, competed in the final segment at three World Junior Championships, and has competed at two World Championships.
Anna Victoria Litvinenko is a British former figure skater and 2017 Team GB member. She is a five-time junior medallist at the British national championships and has most notably competed at the 2015 ISU Junior Grand Prix in the United States, the 2016 ISU Junior Grand Prix in Slovenia, the 2016 ISU CS Warsaw Cup, the 2017 ISU Junior Grand Prix in Latvia, the 2017 ISU CS Finlandia Trophy, the 2018 ISU Junior Grand Prix in Lithuania and the 2018 CS Inge Solar Memorial – Alpen Trophy. Luc Economides is a French figure skater. He is the 2017 ISU Junior Grand Prix in Austria silver medalist, 2019 Santa Claus Cup champion, 2018 French national junior champion, and a three-time French national senior medalist.
Lucrezia Beccari is an Italian figure skater, who currently competes in pair skating with partner Matteo Guarise. With Guarise, she is the 2024 European champion, two-time ISU Grand Prix medalists, 2023 CS Nebelhorn Trophy silver medalists and 2024 Italian national silver medalists.
Stefanie Pesendorfer is an Austrian figure skater. She is the 2019 Tirnavia Ice Cup champion, the 2019 Prague Ice Cup champion, and the 2022 Austrian champion. She finished twelfth at the 2018 World Junior Championships and competed at the 2022 World Championships.
Olga Romanovna Mikutina is a Ukrainian-Austrian figure skater who competes for Austria. She is a four-time Austrian national champion, as well as a two-time Austrian national junior champion (2019–2020). Internationally, she has represented the country at the European and World championships, and finished fourteenth at the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Maïa Mazzara is a French figure skater who currently represents France in women's singles and formerly represented Switzerland. She is a two-time French national silver medalist.
Lara Naki Gutmann is an Italian figure skater. She is the 2024 Finlandia Trophy bronze medalist, a three-time ISU Challenger Series medalist, the 2020 Nordics champion, the 2019 Dragon Trophy silver medalist, the 2018 Bosphorus Cup silver medalist, and a three-time Italian national champion (2021–23). She has reached the final segment at five ISU Championships, with a top-ten result at the 2023 and 2024 European Championships.
Adam Hagara is a Slovak figure skater. He is the 2024 Winter Youth Olympic silver medalist, 2024 World Junior bronze medalist, 2023–24 Junior Grand Prix Final bronze medalist and 2023 JGP Austria champion, and has seven senior international medals as well as four Slovak national titles (2022–2025).
Kimmy Vivienne Repond is a Swiss figure skater. She is the 2023 European bronze medalist, a four-time ISU Challenger Series medalist, and a two-time Swiss national champion.
Andreas Nordebäck is a Swedish figure skater. He is the 2022 Ice Challenge silver medalist and the 2022 Finlandia Trophy bronze medalist.
Kaiya Ruiter is a Canadian figure skater. She is a two-time ISU Challenger Series silver medalist, the 2024 Canadian national champion, and the 2023 Canadian national silver medalist.
Letizia Roscher is a German pair skater, together with Luis Schuster as her skating partner. She is the 2022 MK John Wilson Trophy bronze medalist.
Naoki Rossi is a Swiss figure skater. He is the 2023 World Junior silver medalist and 2023 JGP Hungary silver medalist.
Anna Pezzetta is an Italian figure skater. She is the 2025 Italian national champion, the 2022 CS Ice Challenge champion, and the 2023 CS Warsaw Cup silver medalist.
Livia Kaiser is a Swiss figure skater. She is the 2023 Swiss national champion, a two-time Swiss national bronze medalist, and the 2021 Volvo Open Cup silver medalist. Kaiser has represented Switzerland at the European Championships, finishing fourth in 2024.
