Sarlanagar is a small industrial town located near Maihar in the Maihar district of Madhya Pradesh, India. Its residents are primarily employees of Maihar Cement. The town is named after Sarla Birla, the wife of B.K. Birla, who owns the B.K. Birla Group of companies, which includes Maihar Cement. [1]
