The Shenzhen Metro is the rapid transit system for the city of Shenzhen in Guangdong province, China. The Line 8 Extension – which opened on December 27, 2023 – put the network at 555.43 kilometres of trackage. It currently operates on 16 lines with 373 stations. Despite having only opened on December 28, 2004, the Shenzhen Metro is the 5th longest metro system in China and 6th longest in the world. By 2035, the network is planned to comprise 8 express and 24 non-express lines totaling 1,142 kilometres of trackage.
Window of the World station, formerly Shijiezhichuang station is a station on Line 1 and Line 2 of the Shenzhen Metro. The Line 1 platforms opened on 28 December 2004 and the Line 2 platforms opened on 28 December 2010 as the terminus. It is located underground at the north of Window of the World in Shennan Dadao (深南大道), Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China. It provides access to two of the theme parks in Shenzhen, Window of the World and Happy Valley.
Fumin station is a station of Line 4, Line 7 and Line 10 of the Shenzhen Metro. Line 4 platforms opened on 28 December 2004, Line 7 platforms opened on 28 October 2016 and Line 10 platforms opened on 18 August 2020. It is located under the junction of Jintian Lu and Fumin Lu in Futian District, Shenzhen, China. The station served as the southern terminus of Line 4 until 15 August 2007.
Children's Palace station is a station on Line 3 and Line 4 of the Shenzhen Metro. It opened on 28 December 2004. The Line 3 platforms opened on 28 June 2011. It is located under the south of Lotus Hill in Futian District, Shenzhen, China. It is adjacent to Shenzhen Children's Palace.
Baishizhou station is a station of Line 1 and Line 20 of Shenzhen Metro. It opened on 28 September 2009. It is located at the underground of the intersections of Shennan Dadao and Shahe Road, in Baishizhou, Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China.
Buji station is a station on Line 3, Line 5 and Line 14 of the Shenzhen Metro. The Line 3 platforms opened on 28 December 2010, the Line 5 platforms opened on 22 June 2011 and the Line 14 platforms opened on 28 October 2022. Together with the co-located Shenzhen East railway station and two bus stations, it forms the Buji Transport Hub.
Gangxia North station is an interchange station for Line 2, Line 10, Line 11 and Line 14 of the Shenzhen Metro. Line 2 platforms opened on 28 June 2011, Line 10, Line 11 and Line 14 platforms opened on 28 October 2022. Measuring 220,000 meters square, it is 1.6 times as large as the nearby intermodal Futian station. It is the second four-line interchange hub in Shenzhen after Chegongmiao station.
Sea World station is an interchange station for Line 2 and Line 12 of the Shenzhen Metro. Line 2 platforms opened on 28 December 2010 and Line 12 platforms opened on 28 November 2022. It is located close to the eastern edge of Shekou in Nanshan district of Shenzhen.
Taoyuan station, is an interchange station for Line 1 and Line 12 of Shenzhen Metro in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. Line 1 platforms opened on 15 June 2011 and Line 12 platforms opened on 28 November 2022.
