<span class="mw-page-title-main">Volleyball at the 2024 Summer Olympics</span> 2024 Olympic event

The volleyball tournaments at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris are scheduled to run from 27 July to 11 August 2024. 24 volleyball teams and 48 beach volleyball teams will participate in the tournament. Indoor volleyball competitions will occur at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles with the beach volleyball tournament staged at the Eiffel Tower Stadium in Champ de Mars. This is the first time in the history of the Olympic volleyball competition, each team participating in the Games will be entitled to include one non-competing (AP) athlete to replace an athlete for medical reasons. As such, team rosters will increase from 12 to 13 athletes.

The 2024 African Sitting Volleyball Championships – Women's tournament was held in Lagos, Nigeria. The winners qualify for the 2024 Paralympics. Rwanda are the three-time defending champions. Rwanda won the competition and qualified for the Paralympics after a 3–0 over Kenya.

Volleyball was played as an unofficial exhibition event at the 1924 Summer Olympics as part of the Jeux de L’Enfance, an accompanying youth sports competition. Teams represented different cities and clubs in France as well as overseas YMCA chapters. There were two international matches between French and American selection teams.
