Solariella periscopia is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Solariellidae. ^[1] It is commonly referred to as the "look-around solarelle", and was first described in 1927. ^[2]

Distribution

This species occurs in the Western Atlantic Ocean (North Carolina, the Bahamas), ^[2] the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico.

Description

The maximum recorded shell length is 3 mm. ^[3]

Habitat

Minimum recorded depth is 46 m. ^[3] Maximum recorded depth is 95 m. ^[3]
