Sonali Bendre is an Indian actress widely known for her work in Hindi and Telugu films. She made her debut at the age of nineteen with the action-drama Aag , in 1994, which was a box office hit. Bendre's performance earned her Filmfare Award for Lux New Face of the Year and Screen Award for Best Female Debut. The same year, she also appeared in Mahesh Bhatt action drama film Naaraaz , for which she was awarded Filmfare's Sensational Debut Award.
