"Spicy" is a song by French musician Herve Pagez and American producer Diplo,featuring vocals by English singer Charli XCX. The song was released on 30 May 2019 by the Mad Decent record label. "Spicy" heavily interpolates the song "Wannabe" by English girl group Spice Girls,from their first album Spice (1996). The Spice Girls are,therefore,credited as songwriters for the track,alongside Charli XCX,Emmanuel Valere,Joel Jaccoulet and "Wannabe" co-writers Matt Rowe and Richard Stannard. "Spicy" was produced by Pagez and Diplo. [2]

The Spice Girls are an English girl group formed in 1994,consisting of Melanie Brown a.k.a. Mel B;Melanie Chisholm,a.k.a. Mel C;Emma Bunton;Geri Halliwell;and Victoria Beckham. With their "girl power" mantra,they redefined the girl-group concept by targeting a young female fanbase. They led the teen pop resurgence of the 1990s,were a major part of the Cool Britannia era,and became pop culture icons of the decade.
"Wannabe" is the debut single by the English girl group the Spice Girls,released on 26 June 1996. It was written by the Spice Girls,Matt Rowe and Richard "Biff" Stannard and produced by Rowe and Stannard for the group's debut album,Spice,released in November 1996. "Wannabe" is a dance-pop song that features Mel B and Geri Halliwell rapping. The lyrics,which address the value of female friendship over heterosexual relationships,became a symbol of female empowerment and the most emblematic song of the group's Girl Power philosophy. It was written and recorded quickly. The result was considered lacklustre by their label and was sent to be mixed by Dave Way. The Spice Girls were not pleased with the result,and the recording was mixed again,by Mark "Spike" Stent.
Charlotte Emma Aitchison,known professionally as Charli XCX,is an English singer and songwriter. Born in Cambridge and raised in Start Hill,Essex,she began posting songs on Myspace in 2008,which led to her discovery by a promoter who invited her to perform at warehouse raves. In 2010,she signed a recording contract with Asylum Records,releasing a series of singles and mixtapes throughout 2011 and 2012.
"I Love It" is a song by Swedish duo Icona Pop featuring vocals from British singer Charli XCX. It was released as a single in May 2012 as a digital download in Sweden,where it peaked at number two on the singles chart. The song was added to their debut studio album,Icona Pop,as well as their EP Iconic and their debut international album,This Is... Icona Pop. "I Love It" was written by Charli XCX,Patrik Berger,and Style of Eye,with production handled by the latter two.

In 2012,Charli XCX was featured on Icona Pop's song "I Love It",which peaked at number one in the UK and reached the top 10 in various countries including the US,Canada,Ireland and Germany.
"Fancy" is a song by Australian rapper Iggy Azalea featuring British singer Charli XCX,taken from the former's debut studio album,The New Classic (2014). It was released on 17 February 2014 by Def Jam Recordings as the fourth single from the album. "Fancy" was described as an electro-hop,electropop,and pop rap song. It was written by Azalea and XCX,composed and produced by production team the Invisible Men,alongside additional producers The Arcade. It was leaked under the title "Leave It" in December 2013.

"Boys" is a single by English singer Charli XCX,released on 26 July 2017 by Asylum Records and Atlantic Records UK. The song was originally intended to be the second single from her then-upcoming third studio album. However,the song became a stand-alone single when the projected third album was leaked on the internet and cancelled. The song makes use of a sample from the Nintendo video game Super Mario Bros.
