It is a part of the Saginaw Intermediate School District and serves the St. Charles area, including the village of St. Charles, the northern portions of Brant and St. Charles townships, and the southern portions of Fremont and Swan Creek townships. Saginaw County, officially the County of Saginaw, is a county located in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the population was 200,169. The county seat is Saginaw. The county was created by September 10, 1822, and was fully organized on February 9, 1835. The etymology of the county's name is uncertain. It may be derived from Sace-nong or Sak-e-nong, as the Sauk tribe is believed by some to have once lived there. Bloomfield Township, officially the Charter Township of Bloomfield, is a charter township of Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the township population was 41,070. This area often referred to simply as "Bloomfield" by residents and visitors alike. This Metro Detroit township was organized in 1827, the first township to be established in Oakland County. It almost completely surrounds the city of Bloomfield Hills. In 2014, Bloomfield Township was ranked the most expensive community in which to live in the state of Michigan.

The Walled Lake Consolidated School District is a school district with its headquarters in the Educational Services Center in Walled Lake, Michigan in Greater Detroit. The district has 12 elementary schools, four middle schools, and three high schools which serve over 14,000 children.

Walled Lake Central High School is a high school of the Walled Lake Consolidated Schools, located in Commerce Township, Michigan in Metro Detroit. It serves portions of the township, Wolverine Lake, a small portion of the City of Walled Lake, and a small portion of Wixom. It was built as Walled Lake High School in 1957, and, a year after its first additions were completed in 1968, took its current name. The original addition was part of a construction project that included construction of Walled Lake Western High School. More additions were completed in 1992 and 2000.

The districts includes the village of Carleton and the surrounding Ash Township, as well as portions of Frenchtown Charter, Exeter, and Berlin Charter townships. Airport Community Schools also includes a very small portion of Sumpter Township in neighboring Wayne County.

Bloomfield Hills School District (BHSD) is a school district in the Greater Detroit area of the U.S. state of Michigan, with its headquarters in Bloomfield Township in Oakland County. In addition to portions of Bloomfield Township the district also serves most of the city of Bloomfield Hills and portions of West Bloomfield Township. It was founded in the 1950s.
