Madhya Pradesh State Highway 26 (MP SH 26) [1] is a State Highway running from Khategaon till Amarkantak. It is popularly known as Jabalpur Road.

It passes through the width of the entire state via Balaghat, Seoni, Chhindwara, Multai, Betul, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Kukshi and Alirajpur. [2] [3]

Narmada Valley Development Authority (NVDA) concerns Narmada River, the river of Madhya Pradesh. With 87% of its catchment area lying in Madhya Pradesh, it becomes all the more important for the state to exploit this enormous water resource. It was with this motto in mind that the Narmada Valley Development Authority (NVDA) was formed by the government of MP on 9 August 1985. NVDA oversees all major development projects in the Narmada Basin. The body also ensures that proper rehabilitation is provided to the displaced, and the negative impacts on environment are minimized by taking appropriate measures.

The Nerbudda Division, named after the Narmada River (Nerbudda), was a former administrative division of the Central Provinces of British India. It encompassed a good part of the Narmada River basin in the eastern part of present-day Madhya Pradesh state of India. Madhya Pradesh State Highway 19 is a 651.7 kilometres (404.9 mi) long State Highway running from Porsa town near MP-UP border via Mehgaon, Datia, Narwar, Sultanpur, Bareli, Piparia, Matkuli, Tamia, Parasia and terminates at Chhindwara city. It is an important highway which connects important towns of Northern Madhya Pradesh and Southern Madhya Pradesh.
