State Highway 35, commonly referred to as Sidlaghatta-Anekal Highway, is a state highway running from Sidlaghatta (North) to Anekal (South) passing through Hoskote, Kadugodi, Whitefield, [3] Varthur, Gunjur, Sarjapur, Attibele. [1] Part of it is maintained by the Karnataka Public Works Department and a part by Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike. Majority of the highway is 2-laned, except for the section between Kadugodi and Varthur-Kodi which is 4 laned.

SH 35 begins at NH 68 (previously NH 234) in Sidlaghatta and goes southwards to intersect with SH 82 and NH 75 (previously NH 4) at Hoskote. Southbound, the highway goes over the Bangalore-Chennai Railway line at Kadugodi, intersects with Whitefield road and Varthur Road in Whitefield. Further south it crosses the Dakshina Pinakini (Ponnaiyar River) at Varthur-Kodi, passes by Varthur Lake and Varthur. It intersects with Sarjapur Road at Dommasandra then goes southbound till Attibele where it intersects with Hosur Road - NH 44 (previously NH 7). From there it goes southwest, to end at Anekal after crossing the Bangalore-Hosur Railway line.

A portion of the highway between Varthur-Kodi and Hope farm will be a part of the signal-free elevated corridor planned between Vellara junction to Hope farm. [4]

The Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises Road, commonly known as NICE Road, is a partially implemented and largely scrapped 4 to 6 lane private tolled expressway in Karnataka, that was intended to connect the two important cities Bengaluru and Mysuru in the Indian state of Karnataka. It will not be implemented, as Bengaluru–Mysuru access-controlled Highway part of NH 275 is going to replace it as a section of the new Bengaluru–Mangaluru Industrial Corridor (EC-34).

Brookefield is a neighbourhood of Bangalore. Established in the late 19th century as a settlement for the Eurasians of Bangalore. It is a wealthy area, with high real estate prices and relatively new commercial roads such as ITPL road.

This national highway was earlier known as National Highway 48 (NH-48) before rationalisation of highway numbers in 2010. The highway connects the port city of Mangaluru (Mangalore) in the west to the city of Vellore in the east. National highway 75 is the main road for travellers from Mangaluru going to Bengaluru and Hassan. The Anekal derailment occurred at 7.35 a.m. on 13 February 2015, when nine coaches of the Ernakulam-bound Intercity Express derailed near Anekal in the Bangalore Urban district of Karnataka, India. Ten people were killed and over 150 injured.

National Highway 48 is a major National Highway of India that starts at Delhi and terminates at Chennai traversing through seven states of India. It has a total length of 2807 km. NH 48 passes through the states of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The stretch between Pune and Bengaluru was known as P.B. Road in olden days.
