State of the Art is a studio album by South Korean boy band Shinhwa. It was released on May 11, 2006, by Good Entertainment, and represents the group's eighth major album release (tenth overall). It was the third best-selling album of 2006 in South Korea with over 215,000 copies.
A special edition version of State of the Art also released, containing bonus remix tracks of "Throw My Fist" and "Midnight Girl" and a DVD with behind-the-scenes footage. [1] The album was released in Taiwan on October 5, 2006, by Universal Music Taiwan in two versions, including one with a bonus DVD.
The music video for "Once in a Lifetime", was directed by Cho Soo-hyun, who also directed the music video for Psy's "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman"; and also the music video for "This Love" from Shinhwa's The Classic album in 2013. [2]
State of the Art twelve tracks. It was recorded at GoodSound Studio, Rui Studio, Silk Studio, Eungeon (은건) Studio, Dream Factory, and Momo Studio in 2006. [3] Shinhwa member Lee Minwoo composed the lyrics for the song "Paradise", and member Eric Mun composed the rap lyrics for all songs, alongside David Kim. [3]
The album debuted on the Recording Industry Association Korea (RIAK) chart for the month of July 2006, with 161,452 copies sold [4] The album finished 2006 at number 3 on South Korea's year-end charts, with total sales of 215,641 copies. [5]

Shinhwa embarked on a concert tour shortly after the release of State of the Art on May 13, 2006. They became the first Korean artist to hold a solo concert in Singapore on September 10, 2006, which attracted around 10,000 fans. [10]

Shinhwa is a South Korean six-member boy band based in Seoul, composed of Eric Mun, Lee Min-woo, Kim Dong-wan, Shin Hye-sung, Jun Jin, and Andy Lee. Launched by SM Entertainment on March 24, 1998, the group signed with Good Entertainment in 2004 before creating their Shinhwa Company to manage their career as a band. The band struggled initially with their first album before finding commercial success with their sophomore album T.O.P.. When their contract with SM Entertainment expired in July 2003, all six members signed with Good Entertainment and assumed creative control with the release of Brand New. That same year, members began to pursue individual careers.
Lee Sun-ho, mononymously credited as Andy (Korean: 앤디), is a South Korean singer, rapper and the youngest member of six-member boy band Shinhwa. Besides rapping for his band, Andy has ventured out into television acting, musicals, and solo singing. Andy is also the producer of duo Jumper and boy groups Teen Top, 100% and Up10tion.
Girls on Top is the fifth Korean studio album by South Korean recording artist BoA, released through SM Entertainment on June 23, 2005. A repackage of the album, titled Moto, was released on August 17, 2005. The record saw a continuation of BoA's image change that began with her prior album My Name (2004); Girls on Top sought to portray a "mature and self-confident" image with themes expressing female empowerment. In Japan, a special edition of the album including a DVD was released by Avex Trax on March 26, 2008.
Park Choong-jae, known professionally as Jun Jin, is a South Korean singer, actor and entertainer, known as a member and rapper of six-member boy band Shinhwa. He debuted as a dancer and rapper in Shinhwa in 1998 but started singing small parts in 2002; the release of Shinhwa's fifth album. He debuted as a solo artist in November 2006 with the single Love Doesn't Come.
Kim Dong-wan is a South Korean entertainer, known as a member of South Korean boy band Shinhwa. He has been acting since 2002, and has starred in television dramas such as A Farewell to Sorrow and Children of Heaven. He has said that given the opportunity he would prefer a career in acting rather than as a singer, However, since the release of his debut album, he has stated that now he prefers singing more. From Shinhwa, Kim is the fourth member to go solo, following Lee Min-woo, Shin Hye-sung, and Jun Jin.
Park Eun-hye, better known by the stage name Ivy (아이비), is a South Korean singer and musical actress.
"U-Go-Girl" is a song by South Korean recording artist Lee Hyori, featuring rapper Nassun. It was first made available to digital outlets in South Korea a couple days prior to the release of her third studio album, It's Hyorish, on July 12, 2008. A dance-pop number with hip hop influences, "U-Go-Girl" was written and produced by songwriting duo E-Tribe, who would later compose Girls' Generation's "Gee" (2009) and Miss A's "Hush" (2013). "U-Go-Girl" was made available via Mnet.com along with the second title track "Hey, Mr. Big" as one of the pre-releases.
The South Korean boy band Shinhwa has released fifteen studio albums, three live albums, five compilation albums, one box set, three EPs, thirty-four singles, and sixteen contributions to multi-artist compilations. Shinhwa was created by SM Entertainment and debuted in 1998 with the album Resolver. The album saw greater levels of success in comparison to their debut album Resolver (1998), selling over 377,000 copies in 1999. Brand New is the seventh studio album of South Korean boy band Shinhwa. It was released on August 27, 2004, by Good Entertainment. It is their first album since leaving SM Entertainment and signing with Good Entertainment. The four lead singles are "Brand New", "Angel", "Crazy" and "Oh". Brand New sold 324,772 copies in 2004 and was the fifth best-selling album of the year.
Rainism is the fifth Korean-language studio album from South Korean singer Rain, and the first album since his departure from JYP Entertainment. The album was released through J.
