Subantarctia penara is a species of Orsolobidae. The species is endemic to New Zealand. [1]
This species was described in 1985 by Ray Forster and Norman Platnick from a male specimen collected in Coromandel. [1] The holotype is stored in the New Zealand Arthropod Collection under registration number NZAC03015003. [2]
The male is recorded at 3.68mm in length. [1]
This species is only known from Coromandel, New Zealand. [1]
