Sarathkumar in a dual role with Napoleon and Nayanthara in lead while Vadivelu, Lakshmi, Rohini, and Charle play the supporting roles. The music was composed by Bharadwaj. Ayya released on 14 January 2005 coinciding Pongal and turned out to be a critical and commercial success
