Chicago Public Schools (CPS), officially classified as City of Chicago School District #299 for funding and districting reasons, in Chicago, Illinois, is the fourth-largest school district in the United States, after New York, Los Angeles, and Miami-Dade County. For the 2020–21 school year, CPS reported overseeing 638 schools, including 476 elementary schools and 162 high schools; of which 513 were district-run, 115 were charter schools, 9 were contract schools and 1 was a SAFE school. The district serves 340,658 students. Chicago Public School students attend a particular school based on their area of residence, except for charter, magnet, and selective enrollment schools.

South Holland School District 151 is an elementary school district in South Holland, a Chicago suburb located in southern Cook County, Illinois. It is composed of four schools; three elementary schools and one junior high school. Students begin their education in the district at Taft School; prekindergarteners, kindergarteners, and first graders are educated here under supervision of principal Christine Wilson. Students then proceed to Eisenhower School, where they will remain until third grade; the school's principal is Mr. Peter Kolinski. The third and final elementary school in the district educates fourth and fifth graders, and is called Madison School; Madison's principal is Dr. Jerald McNair. Graduates of Madison move on to Coolidge Middle School, where they will remain until graduating from the eighth grade. The principal of the district's middle school is Chevia Rush.
East Prairie School District 73 is an elementary school district located in the northern Cook County Chicago suburb of Skokie. The district is composed of a single facility, known as East Prairie Elementary School. East Prairie Elementary School educates all students in or below grade eight, and also runs a prekindergarten program. The district, in all, has 42 teachers: twelve of those teachers teach primary school students, eight of the teachers teach intermediate school students, another twelve teachers further the education of middle school students, nine teachers lead electives classes, and one last teacher educates the staff on various topics surrounding technology.

Mundelein Elementary School District 75 is an elementary school district based entirely in the western Lake County village of Mundelein, Illinois. The district is composed of three schools: an early learning center, an intermediate grade school, and a middle school. All schools are located in the village of Mundelein. Students in the district attend Washington Elementary School, which serves kindergarteners, first graders, and second graders under Principal Stephanie Drake. Students then proceed to Mechanics Grove Elementary School, which serves grades three through five and is led by Principal Tanya Fergus. William H. Wharton K-8 Dual Language Academy, formerly William Wharton Elementary School, is a public school in the Neartown area of Houston, Texas, and part of the Houston Independent School District. Also known as the Wharton Dual Language Academy, the school serves gifted and talented students in the Language Magnet program from Pre-K through 8th grade.
