Humanomics is a national initiative that was launched by a number of credit unions across Canada on May 1, 2014. The purpose of the Program is to bring a human focus to the concept of economics, by having the participating credit unions support their communities by re-investing profits, and provide opportunities to improve Canadians’ financial well-being.

Grow is a private Canadian online lending company, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. It is the first peer-to-peer online lender to be established in Canada. Grow's platform enables borrowers to obtain a loan, the loans are then sold to private accredited investors. In August 2015 they closed their series A round of financing at $10.2 million, a round that was led by Vancouver angel investors Markus Frind, founder of dating website Plenty of Fish, and Lance Tracey, founder of Internet hosting services company Peer 1 Hosting. Innovation Credit Union is a Canadian credit union. It was formed on January 1, 2007 through the merger of Southwest Credit Union and BCU Financial. Innovation is the third largest credit union in Saskatchewan and the 21st largest credit union in Canada. All deposits are insured by the Saskatchewan Credit Union Deposit Guarantee Corporation.
