Takhmina Ikromova (born 6 August 2004) is an Uzbekistani rhythmic gymnast. She is an Asian Games champion individually and in the team event, and she is also a two-time all-around champion at the Asian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, in 2022 and 2023. She competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in the rhythmic individual all-around.
Ikromova began rhythmic gymnastics when she was five after being brought to the gym by her mother. She won several international competitions for young gymnasts. [2]
She represented Uzbekistan at the 2019 Junior World Championships in Moscow, Russia and finished in 11th place in the Team competition. Individually, she placed 10th in both the rope and ribbon qualifications.
At the 2021 Asian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, she won the silver medals in the all-around, clubs and ribbon finals and a gold medal in the hoop final. At the 2021 World Championships in Kitakyushu, Japan she placed 29th in the all-around qualification.
In 2022, she competed at World Cup Tashkent and won a gold medal in the all-around in front of Ekaterina Vedeneeva from Slovenia. [3] She also took gold medals in the hoop and clubs finals, a bronze medal in the ribbon final, and finished 4th place in the ball final.
She competed at the Islamic Solidarity Games. In the team event, she won the silver medal along with her teammates Yosmina Rakhimova and Sabina Tashkenbaeva. She also won three individual silver medals, in the ball, clubs, and ribbon finals, and the gold medal in the hoop final. [4]
At the 2022 World Championships, she qualified to the all-around final in eleventh place. She qualified for the clubs final with the fifth-highest score with that apparatus; it was the first time in more than a decade that an Uzbekistani rhythmic gymnast had qualified to an apparatus final at the World Championships. [5] She was again 11th place in the all-around final and just out of the medals in 4th place in the clubs final. [6]
In 2023, she started the competition season at Athens World Cup, where she finished 4th in the all-around and won a silver medal in the clubs final. She took part in Sofia World Cup, where she won bronze in the all-around. She qualified for three apparatus finals, winning gold in ribbon and bronze in ball final. On April 14-16, she competed at Tashkent World Cup, winning the silver medal in the all-around, behind Italian Sofia Raffaeli. She qualified to all apparatus finals, but only won a medal in the hoop final (bronze). She finished 4th in the all-around at Baku World Cup and won bronze medals in the ball and ribbon finals. At the 2023 Asian Championships, she won gold in the all-around, team event, and three of the apparatus finals (hoop, ball, and clubs). [7]
She competed at the 2023 World Championships, where she finished in 5th place in the all-around final and qualified to two apparatus finals; she was 4th with the clubs and 8th with the ribbon. [8] This was a qualifying event for the 2024 Summer Olympics, and her placement gave Uzbekistan a berth in the individual event at the Olympics, which was allotted to Ikromova. [9]
In October, she competed at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. She won gold in the team event with her teammates Vilana Savadyan and Evelina Atalyants, and she also won gold in the individual event. [10] [11] At the end of 2023, she was given an award for the best female Uzbekistani athlete of the year. [12] She was featured on a commemorative postage stamps due to her two gold medals at the Asian Games. [13]
Ikromova began her 2024 season by competing at the Grand Prix event in Marbella, Spain. She finished second in the all-around, behind Stiliana Nikolova and ahead of Darja Varfolomeev, and she also won silver with the clubs and the ball. [14] At the next Grand Prix event in Thiais, she won the all-around gold medal. [15]
She competed at her first World Cup of the season in Sofia. There she was sixth in the all-around and won a silver in the ball final. [16] At her next World Cup in Tashkent, Ikromova won the all-around silver medal behind Varfolomeev and ahead of Boryana Kaleyn. She won two of the four event finals (hoop and ball) and won silver in the other two (clubs and ribbon). [17]
At the 2024 Asian Championships in Tashkent, Ikromova was silver in the all-around behind Elzhana Taniyeva. Along with the other Uzbekistani gymnasts, she won gold in the team event. She won two gold medals (ball, clubs) and an additional silver (ribbon) in the apparatus finals. [18]
Ikromova competed at the World Cup in Milan in June. She came in 8th place in the all-around and qualified for three apparatus finals. In the ball final, she won bronze. [19]
In August, Ikromova competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics. In the qualification round, she made mistakes in her first three routines, but she finished more strongly with her last routine with the ribbon. She ended the qualification round in 14th place and did not advance to the final. [20]

Son Yeon Jae KTM is a retired South Korean individual rhythmic gymnast. She is a former member of the South Korean national gymnastics team, based in Taereung, Seoul. Son is the 2014 Asian Games All-around Champion, the 2010 Asian Games All-around bronze medalist, three-time Asian Championships All-around Champion. She is the first and only South Korean individual rhythmic gymnast to win a medal at the World Championships, FIG World Cup series, Universiade and the Asian Games.
Margarita Mamun is a retired Russian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2016 Olympic All-around champion, two-time World All-around silver medalist, the 2015 European Games All-around silver medalist, the 2016 European Championships All-around silver medalist, three-time Grand Prix Final All-around champion and a three-time (2011–2013) Russian National All-around champion.
Aleksandra Sergeyevna Soldatova is a retired Russian individual rhythmic gymnast. Arina Alekseyevna Averina is a Russian former individual rhythmic gymnast. She was a 2020 Summer Olympics finalist, a two-time world all-around silver medalist, a two-time European all-around champion and the 2016 Grand Prix Final all-around bronze medalist. She was a three-time (2019–2021) Russian national all-around champion and a three-time Russian national all-around medalist. Her identical twin sister Dina Averina is also a competitive rhythmic gymnast.
Linoy Ashram is a retired Israeli individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic All-around Champion, the 2018 World All-around silver medalist, two-time World All-around bronze medalist, the 2020 European All-around champion, and the 2019 European Games All-around silver medalist. She is the third Israeli athlete and first Israeli woman to win an Olympic gold medal in any sport, and the first Israeli rhythmic gymnast to win an Olympic medal. She became the first rhythmic gymnast from outside a post-Soviet republic to win a gold medal at an Olympics where former Soviet states participated.
Anastasiya Evgenievna Serdyukova is an Uzbekistani former individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the All-around bronze medalist at the 2014 Asian Games and the 2017 Asian Championships All-around gold medalist.
Ekaterina Olegovna Vedeneeva is a Russian-born Slovenian individual rhythmic gymnast.
Sofia Raffaeli is an Italian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2024 Olympic bronze medalist, 2022 World all-around, hoop, ball, ribbon and team champion, the 2023 World all-around, hoop and ball silver medalist, the 2023 European silver all-around medalist, and the 2024 European all-around silver medalist. She is the first Italian individual rhythmic gymnast to win a gold medal at the World Championships, European Championships and World Games, and she has won seven all-around gold medals in the FIG World Cup circuit. She is the first Italian individual rhythmic gymnast to win a medal at the Olympic Games.
Viktoriia Maksimivna Onopriienko is a Ukrainian individual rhythmic gymnast. She competed at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, finishing tenth in the all-around final. She is the 2020 Grand Prix Final all-around champion and the 2022 World Games ribbon bronze medalist. At the junior level, she is the 2018 European team silver medalist.
Ekaterina Andreevna Fetisova is an Uzbekistani rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2021 Asian Championships ball champion and all-around bronze medalist. She also won team gold and hoop bronze at the 2019 Asian Championships. She represented Uzbekistan at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics and at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She is the 2018 Asian junior all-around champion.
Darja Varfolomeev is a Russian-born German rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2024 Olympic all-around and 2023 World all-around gold medalist and the 2022 World all-around silver medalist. In 2024 she became the 2024 European all-around bronze medalist. At the national level, she is a two-time national all-around champion as well a two-time all-around junior champion.
Elzhana Taniyeva is a Kazakh rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2024 Asian all-around champion and will represent Kazakhstan at the 2024 Summer Olympics. She is the 2022 Asian Games all-around and team silver medalist. She won three medals at the 2021 Summer World University Games and four medals at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games. She joined the senior national group in 2024, winning the group all-around title at the 2024 Asian Championships and qualifying for the 2024 Summer Olympics, where they finished eighth in the group all-around final.
