The Southeastern Conference (SEC) is an American college athletic conference whose member institutions are located primarily in the South Central and Southeastern United States. Its fourteen members include the flagship public universities of ten states, three additional public land-grant universities, and one private research university. A Mr. Basketball is named for each of five divisions competing in Tennessee boys' basketball.

Mr. New York Basketball is an award presented to a senior high school basketball player living in the state of New York. It is awarded by the Basketball Coaches Association of New York, and is considered to be very prestigious.
The Mr. Maine Basketball honor recognizes the top high school basketball player in the state of Maine. The award is presented annually by the Maine Association of Basketball Coaches. The award is given to a senior player who best demonstrates basketball skills, makes significant impact on his team, shows leadership and respect for the game, and demonstrates good sportsmanship and citizenship both on and off the court. The annual selection is made by a 5-person committee composed of three media representatives and two retired coaches.
The Miss Show-Me Basketball honor recognizes the top female high school basketball player in the state of Missouri. The name of the award differs from other Miss Basketball awards to reflect Missouri's state nickname, the Show-Me State. The award is presented annually by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association. In order to be considered for the award, nominees must have been nominated by their high school coach, started in 90 percent of all games, must be high school seniors, and must be of "outstanding moral character". Ten girls are selected as finalists after nominations are compiled, and a special committee of assistant college coaches in Missouri choose the winner.

Mr. Football USA also known as ESPN RISE National Player of the Year, formerly EA Sports Mr. Football USA, is an award presented to the United States high school football National Player of the year by ESPN HS. In 2013, the award was given by the StudentSports.com.

The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award is an award given annually to the "top offensive player in Division I football who also exhibits the enduring characteristics that define Earl Campbell: integrity, performance, teamwork, sportsmanship, drive, community and tenacity." The award was established in 2012 by the Tyler Chamber of Commerce in Tyler, Texas and is presented by SPORTyler, Inc., in conjunction with the City of Tyler, the Tyler Convention & Visitors Bureau and Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce. The recipient must have ties to the state of Texas.
The UT Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros is a collegiate athletic program that represents the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). The Vaqueros inherited the NCAA Division I status of the Texas–Pan American Broncs and competed in the Western Athletic Conference. In March 2024, it was reported that the Vaqueros would leave the WAC for the Southland Conference, beginning in the 2024-25 academic year.
The Vermont Mr. Basketball honor recognizes the top high school basketball player in the state of Vermont. The award is presented annually by the Burlington Free Press, since 1991.
Mr. and Miss Pennsylvania Basketball is a yearly award given to the best high school basketball player in Pennsylvania. Twenty-five of each boys and girls student athletes are nominated by PAbball.com and states coaches and media vote for final six nominees and the public along with coaches votes for the winner.
