The Antidote is the fifth album by Morcheeba, released in 2005. It featured Daisy Martey on vocals, who replaced Skye Edwards. It was the band's first album with Echo Records. [5] The album reached 17 in the UK album charts. [6]

The album was supported by three singles; "Lighten Up", "Everybody Loves a Loser" and "Wonders Never Cease". [7] [8] [9] The latter was co-written by Jody Sternberg who would later join the band on tour. [10]
Pitchfork gave the album a 2.7 out of ten, remarking that Daisy Martey replacing singer Skye Edwards was like "an Angela Lansbury replacing a Marilyn Monroe." [3]
Most reviews were more favourable, if somewhat tepid. Prefix Magazine gave it a six out of ten, noting the new direction of the band was "definitely welcome." [11] PopMatters called it a solid album, but argued that Martey's style played against the Godfrey brothers' strengths, referring to the majority of the album as a "disappointment". [4] BBC Music, on the other hand, delivered a strong recommendation, noting its eclectic style, and ending its positive review with "For the malaise brought on by much of today's dance-by-numbers, it's an antidote, indeed." [12]
Morcheeba is an English electronic band formed in the mid-1990s with founding members vocalist Skye Edwards and the brothers Paul and Ross Godfrey. They mix influences from trip hop, rock, folk rock and downtempo, and have produced nine regular studio albums since 1995, two of which reached the UK top ten. Edwards left the band in 2003, after which the brothers used a number of singers before she rejoined in 2009. They recruit additional members for their live performances and have toured internationally. In 2014 Paul Godfrey resigned from the band. Edwards and Ross Godfrey later formed Skye | Ross and released a self-titled album in September 2016. Their latest studio album as Morcheeba, Blackest Blue, was released in May 2021. It features collaborations with Duke Garwood and Brad Barr and was preceded by singles "Sounds of Blue", "Oh Oh Yeah" and "The Moon".
XO is the fourth studio album by American singer-songwriter Elliott Smith. It was recorded from 1997 to 1998 and released on August 25, 1998 by record label DreamWorks; Smith's first solo album on a major record label. Two singles, "Waltz #2 (XO)" and "Baby Britain", were released.
Who Can You Trust? is the debut studio album by English electronic music group Morcheeba. It was released in 1996 on China Records in the United Kingdom and Discovery and Sire Records in the United States. Stylistically, the album is by far the band's most trip hop oriented release, consisting of languid, looping grooves, using mostly Rhodes piano, electric guitar and scratching. At the end of 1998 the album was re-issued as 2-CDs with the 8 track disc Beats & B-Sides collection.

Skye Edwards, sometimes simply Skye, is a British singer-songwriter. Her career began in 1994 when she and the Godfrey brothers formed Morcheeba, which released five albums with Skye as lead vocalist. In 2003, the band split, after which Skye released two solo albums: Mind How You Go in 2006, and Keeping Secrets in 2009. In 2010, Edwards returned to Morcheeba, again as lead vocalist. In 2012, she released her third solo album, Back to Now. Her fourth solo album In A Low Light was released in 2015.
Big Calm is the second studio album by English electronic music group Morcheeba. It was released in March 1998 by Indochina Records and Sire Records. The album reached the top 20 of the UK Albums Chart, while the single "Part of the Process" charted in the top 40 of the UK Singles Chart in August of the same year. "The Music That We Hear", included on special-edition versions of the album, is a reworking of "Moog Island" from Morcheeba's debut album, Who Can You Trust? The album cover was inspired by that of the 1966 Ray Conniff compilation Hi Fi Companion.
Fragments of Freedom is the third album by the English electronic group Morcheeba, which was released in 2000. It was one of their most successful albums in terms of chart sales. Special versions of the CD contained a short CD-ROM video of the 'Making of Fragments of Freedom' and also music videos.
Charango is the fourth studio album by the British group Morcheeba, released in the first week of July 2002 through Warner Bros. Records. Dive Deep is the sixth studio album by the British band Morcheeba, released on 4 February 2008 in the United Kingdom. It is also the second studio album recorded without the former lead singer Skye Edwards. It has a number of vocalists, and several songs can be heard on the band's MySpace page. The first single released was "Enjoy the Ride" which features Judie Tzuke. The second single, "Gained the World", featuring Manda Zamolo, was released on 28 April 2008.

Fuckbook is an album released by indie rock band Yo La Tengo under the alias Condo Fucks in 2009. The band name comes from an inner sleeve listing fake albums and genre send-ups included in their 1997 album I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One. Guitarist Ira Kaplan and drummer Georgia Hubley are credited on this album as Kid Condo and Georgia Condo, respectively. The Matador press release for the album creates a fictional backstory for the band that hints at the truth. The album is purportedly produced by Mutt Lange, mixed by Bob Clearmountain, and mastered by Greg Calbi, but this is unconfirmed and most likely part of the gag.
Blood Like Lemonade is the seventh studio album by the British band Morcheeba, released on 7 June 2010 in the United Kingdom. The album marks the return of former lead singer Skye Edwards, who left the band in 2003. The first single released was "Even Though". Paul Godfrey said, "This is the record we should have made after Big Calm [Morcheeba's second album, released in 1998] but we had to travel treacherous terrains to get back to our natural habitat."
Death Grips is an American experimental hip hop group formed in 2010 in Sacramento, California. The group consists of MC Ride, Zach Hill, and Andy Morin. Though he is not the group's frontman, Hill has been credited with being the driving creative force behind the project.
