The sixth season of The Bachelorette , an ABC reality television series, premiered on May 24, 2010. This season featured 25-year-old Ali Fedotowsky, an advertising account manager from Williamstown, Massachusetts. [1] [2] Fedotowsky finished in fourth place on season 14 of The Bachelor featuring Jake Pavelka, after she eliminated herself due to a work-related ultimatum.
The season concluded on August 2, 2010, with Fedotowsky accepting a proposal from 26-year-old insurance agent Roberto Martinez. Martinez is the first male Latino winner in The Bachelorette. The couple ended their relationship on November 21, 2011.

Justin Rego, Kasey Kahl, and Kirk DeWindt returned for the second season of Bachelor Pad. Rego was eliminated in week 1. DeWindt and his partner, Ella Nolan, were eliminated at the beginning of week 6, finishing in 4th place. The Bachelorette is an American reality television dating game show that debuted on ABC on January 8, 2003. The show is a spin-off of The Bachelor and the staple part of The Bachelor franchise. The first season featured Trista Rehn, the runner-up from the first season of The Bachelor, offering the opportunity for Rehn to choose a husband among 25 bachelors. The 2004 season of The Bachelorette again took a runner-up from the previous season of The Bachelor. After last airing on February 28, 2005, the series returned to ABC during the spring of 2008, following an absence of three years, and has since become an annual staple of the network's summer programming.
The ninth season of American Idol premiered on Fox on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, and concluded on Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Simon Cowell, Kara DioGuardi, and Randy Jackson returned as judges and were joined by Ellen DeGeneres, who was brought on as a replacement for Paula Abdul after a series of guest judges filled in during the auditions. Applications were due in January 2010, and filming lasted from August to September 2010. The season was filmed near San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, the same location as the previous season. The show featured returning players Russell Hantz and Rob Mariano and 16 new players to Survivor.
