The Christmas Album is the tenth studio album and first Christmas album by Australian pop vocal group Human Nature, released in November 2013.

Contents

The album was re-released with four additional tracks in November 2015. [1]

Background

The album was recorded in Los Angeles and Las Vegas [2] and features cover version of successful Christmas songs such as "White Christmas", "Winter Wonderland" and a medley consisting of "Silent Night" mixed with "O Holy Night". The Christmas Album includes two duets; one with Australian singer Jessica Mauboy and the other with Smokey Robinson. [3] The album was supported by a national tour in December 2013, accompanied by a 16-piece band. [4]

Music videos

Human Nature released 6 music videos via their Vevo account throughout November and December 2013. "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow" featuring Delta Goodrem was released in November 2015, to support the deluxe edition of the album. [5]

Critical reception

Andrew Le of Renowned for Sound gave the album 3.5 out of 5 stars, saying that the tone is generally upbeat and "soulful vocals with retro touches and rich, heavenly harmonies are what Human Nature do best". [13]

The album debuted on the Australian ARIA charts at number 12 and climbed three spots to 9 the following week and was certified Platinum. In the third week, it climbed another three spots to number 6. It peaked at number 4 in its fifth week.

Mistaken Identity is the second studio album by Australian singer Delta Goodrem, released in Australia on 8 November 2004, a day before Goodrem's twentieth birthday, by Epic and Daylight Records. Goodrem co-wrote some of the album with Guy Chambers, who also produced the album with Richard Flack and Steve Power. Mistaken Identity debuted at number-one on the Australian Albums Chart making it her second number-one album but the sales did not match up to her previous album Innocent Eyes (2003) which sold 4.5 million copies worldwide. Only Santa Knows is the sixth studio album and the first full-length Christmas album by Australian singer-songwriter Delta Goodrem. It was released on 13 November 2020 through Sony Music Australia. It is Goodrem's second Christmas release, after 2012's Christmas EP. The album includes two original tracks and 11 covers, including "Silent Night" with Gurrumul, which was recorded in 2014 and included on The Spirit of Christmas 2014.
