The Tour of Misia 2008 Eighth World was the thirteenth concert tour by Japanese recording artist Misia, in support of her album Eighth World (2008). Comprising a set list of songs from Eighth World and previous albums, the tour visited arenas nationwide and spanned three months. The Tour of Misia 2008 Eighth World was simultaneously announced with Misia's Hoshizora no Live IV Classics summer tour in April 2007. [1] The tour commenced in late December 2006 and concluded in late February 2007. [2] Initially scheduled to run for eleven shows, an additional date at the Yokohama Arena venue was added as the final show. [3] Sponsored by OCN, the tour drew an estimated audience of 150,000. [2]
On January 10, 2008, it was announced that Misia was suffering from acute tonsillitis. [4] Despite cancelling the promotional campaign for Eighth World, she recovered on time for the January 19 show. [4]
A wrap party titled The Tour of Misia 2008 Eighth World Cocktail Party was held two days after the conclusion of the tour at the ageHa nightclub. [5] WOWOW aired a TV edit of The Tour of Misia 2008 Eighth World on April 15, 2008. [6]

Yoshitarō Nomura was a prolific Japanese film director, film producer, and screenwriter. His first accredited film, Pigeon, was released in 1952; his last, Kikenna Onna-tachi (危険な女たち), in 1985. He received several awards during his career, including the Japanese Academy Award for "Best Director" for his 1978 film The Demon.
Zone (ゾーン) was an all-female rock band started in Sapporo, Japan, in 1997. It started as a dance group and turned into an all-female band. Zone has been categorized in a new genre called "bandol". The band was started and managed by Studio RunTime and its first single, "Good Days", was released by the major record label Sony Records, on February 7, 2001. The group officially disbanded on March 2, 2013.
Yūjirō Ishihara was a Japanese actor and singer born in Kobe. His elder brother is Shintaro Ishihara, an author, politician, and the Governor of Tokyo between 1999 and 2012. Misia Candle Night 2014 was a concert tour by Japanese singer Misia and the third installment of the Misia Candle Night concert series. The tour began on August 23, 2014, at the Sapporo Art Park in Sapporo, Hokkaido and concluded on September 13, 2014, at the Sanuki Theatron in Sanuki, Kagawa. An additional date was held on November 29, 2014, at the Nakagusuku Castle in Kitanakagusuku, Okinawa, as part of the World Heritage Theater project.
