The Townsville District Rugby League (TDRL) is a rugby league football competition in Townsville, Queensland, Australia. The competition is run under the Queensland Rugby League, and features nine clubs, who contest a Premiership season across four senior men's and one senior women's grade from April until August. [1]
The local representative team in the Queensland Cup is the Townsville Blackhawks, who play at Jack Manski Oval. Junior squads are nicknamed the Townsville Stingers, which was also the name of the former representative team in the Queensland Cup. RLTD selects representative teams to compete in the yearly Foley Shield and Mal Meninga Cup (Under 19's) state league as the Townsville Stingers/Townsville Blackhawks. [2]

The Townsville & District Junior Rugby League (the Kangaroos) runs a ten club juniors competitions with grades ranging from under 6's to under 18's. [5] Townsville's juniors competed in the Cyril Connell Cup state league formerly as the Townsville Stingers, but now go by Mendi Townsville & Districts Blackhawks.

The Queensland Rugby League South East Division is a rugby league division responsible for the running of rugby league in South-East Queensland. This makes the South East Division responsible for the FOGS Cup, FOGS Colts Challenge and Brisbane Second Division competitions. This Division also administers the City team in the annual QRL City-Country match. It is also responsible for administering the game of rugby league across the Gold Coast and Ipswich. These two cities alone comprise over 7000 junior and senior players.
The Northern Division of the Queensland Rugby League is responsible for administering the game of rugby league in North Queensland, specifically in the area from Sarina in the south to Cape York and the Torres Strait Islands in the north and west to Mount Isa as well as into the Gulf Communities. There are over 8000 registered players across 36 senior clubs and 39 junior clubs in this division. The Northern Division is responsible for the historic Foley Shield competition that is held each year. Mid West and Mount Isa play in the Toyota Outback Carnival.
NRL South Australia is a not-for-profit organisation responsible for administering the game of rugby league in the state of South Australia. It was formed on 28 July 1976 and is an affiliated state of the Australian Rugby League Commission.
The NZRL Bartercard Premiership was a six-team rugby league competition that ran in 2008 and 2009. It replaced the now-defunct Bartercard Cup competition as the highest level of rugby league in New Zealand. Matches have been broadcast on SKY Network Television and Māori Television. In 2009 the competition was mirrored by Under 18 and Under 16 grade competitions. The competition was replaced by the seven-team National Zonal Competition in 2010.

They compete in Queensland's top rugby league competition, the Queensland Cup. The club was admitted to the Queensland Cup in September 2014, first competing in the 2015 season. The side plays their home games at Jack Manski Oval.

The competition was administered by the Queensland Rugby League (QRL), and was contested by fourteen teams, thirteen of which are located in Queensland and one in New South Wales.
The 2018 Hastings Deering Colts season was the 1st season of the under-20 competition, sponsored by Hastings Deering and run by the Queensland Rugby League.
