The Rockhampton District Rugby League (RDRL) is the administrative body for the game of rugby league football in Rockhampton, Queensland. Formed in 1918 and a part of the Queensland Rugby League's Central Division, the RDRL runs senior, junior and women's club competitions and has its headquarters at Browne Park. The competition changed its name to Rockhampton Senior Local Rugby League in 2018. [1]
Rockhampton is represented by the Central Queensland Capras, who compete in the Queensland Rugby League's statewide Queensland Cup competition, and are an affiliate of National Rugby League club Dolphins. [2]
The local leaue's representative team is the Rockhampton Rustlers who participate in QRL Carnivals and events. The team formerly competed in the Winfield State League before the advent of the Capras and the Queensland Cup and won the competition in 1995 over the Gold Coast Vikings 26–22.
The local senior competition was established in 1918, and continued with just Rockhampton based clubs until it merged with the Gladstone District Rugby League in 2024.

Rockhampton is a city in the Rockhampton Region of Central Queensland, Australia. In the 2021 census, the population of Rockhampton was 79,293. A common nickname for Rockhampton is 'Rocky', and the demonym of Rockhampton is Rockhamptonite.
Yeppoon is a coastal town and locality in the Shire of Livingstone, Queensland, Australia. Yeppoon is renowned for its beaches, tropical climate, and the islands out on the bay. Located 41 kilometres (25 mi) from the city of Rockhampton, Yeppoon is the seat of the Shire of Livingstone and the principal town on the Capricorn Coast, a string of seaside communities stretching more than 150 kilometres (93 mi) from north to south. The beaches and shallow coves provide a destination both for tourists and retirees settling down in Central Queensland. Offshore, there are 27 islands including Great Keppel Island which is 20 kilometres (12 mi) from Yeppoon. In the 2021 census, the locality of Yeppoon had a population of 7,037 people; this does not include any neighbouring suburbs.
Biloela is a rural town and locality in the Shire of Banana, Central Queensland, Australia. It is the administrative centre of the shire. In the 2021 census, the locality of Biloela had a population of 5,692 people.
The Central Queensland Capras are a semi-professional rugby league football club primarily based in Rockhampton, Queensland and representing Central Queensland. They play in the Hostplus Cup in Queensland, which is a second-tier competition in Australia. Since 2023, they are one of the feeder clubs for the Dolphins in the Australian National Rugby League.
