Racing career

Huddleston started his career in bandolero racing in 2008. [1] After racing in the Sportsman class at Irwindale Speedway in 2011, [2] Huddleston raced late models at Madera Speedway in 2014. [3] Throughout his career, he has raced for High Point Racing, which his father owns. [4] In 2015, Huddleston claimed his first Irwindale track championship, winning five late model races. [1]

For the 2016 season, Huddleston raced almost exclusively at Irwindale Speedway, winning ten races. [5] He also made his NASCAR K&N Pro Series West debut with Sunrise Ford Racing, finishing tenth at Irwindale. [6]

In 2017, Huddleston competed at Irwindale, Kern County Raceway Park and Tucson Speedway. Between the three tracks, he competed in 35 races, winning 22 of them. [7] After staying in contention all year, [8] Huddleston finished three points behind Lee Pulliam for the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series title. [9]

In 2018, Huddleston returned to the K&N Pro Series West for what he presumed to be a limited slate with Sunrise Ford Racing; eventually, it turned into a full-season effort. [10] He would finish the season sixth in points.

On March 30, 2019, Huddleston earned his first career K&N Pro Series win, scoring the victory at his home track of Irwindale in a photo finish over Tanner Gray. [11] He won a second race that year, this time at Evergeen Speedway, and finished 4th in the points standings,

Huddleston moved to Sunrise Ford's No. 6 in 2020 [12] and remained in the ride for 2021. He did not score any wins during this time and finished 4th and 6th in the points standings respectively.

In 2022, after he lost his ride to Tanner Reif, he joined his family-owned team High Point Racing in the No. 50 Ford for the first Irwindale race, where he finished 6th. He would also run Kern County and the second Irwindale race, finishing 7th and 3rd respectively.

In 2023, Huddleston drove the High Point Racing No. 50 full time. He would win a race at his home track of Irwindale. [13] Huddleston finished a career high 3rd in the points standings.

Huddleston returned to the No. 50 in 2024. [14] He would win back to back races at Madera Speedway and All American Speedway. [15] For the second season in a row, he would finish 3rd in the points standings.

Personal life

Huddleston attends Moorpark College. [16] His father, Tim, was also a track champion at Irwindale. [17] Huddleston proposed to his girlfriend, Nastasia Dodd, in victory lane after winning the 2024 West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame 150 at Madera Speedway, the track where they met. [18]

The 2024 West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame 150 was the 2nd stock car race of the 2023 ARCA Menards Series West season, and the 22nd running of the event. The race was held on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Irwindale Speedway in Irwindale, California, a 0.50 mile (0.80 km) permanent asphalt oval shaped short track. The race took the scheduled 150 laps to complete. In an action-packed race, Sean Hingorani, driving for Venturini Motorsports, would hold off a challenging Landen Lewis throughout the entire race, and led the final 16 laps of the race to earn his first career ARCA Menards Series West win. Pole-sitter Trevor Huddleston dominated the early portions of the race, leading the first 72 laps, before falling back in the final stage and finishing 4th. Hingorani led 61 laps and had a hard-fought battle with Landen Lewis throughout the remainder of the event. To fill out the podium, Tyler Reif, driving for Lowden Jackson Motorsports, would finish in 3rd, respectively.

The 2024 West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame 150 presented by NAPA Auto Parts was the 6th stock car race of the 2024 ARCA Menards Series West season, and the 23rd iteration of the event. The race was held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Irwindale Speedway in Irwindale, California, a 0.50 mile (0.80 km) permanent asphalt oval shaped short track. The race was originally scheduled to be contested over 150 laps, but was extended to 152 laps due to an overtime finish. In an action-packed race with post-race controversy, Sean Hingorani, driving for Venturini Motorsports, would take advantage of late teammate troubles from Isabella Robusto, and take the lead with 29 laps to go. After surviving numerous restarts, Hingorani held off Jack Wood in a one-lap shootout to earn his sixth career ARCA Menards Series West win, his second of the season, and his second consecutive win, sweeping both doubleheader races. Robusto and Trevor Huddleston were the most dominant drivers of the race, Robusto led 58 laps while Huddleston led a race-high 62 laps. After hitting the wall with 29 laps to go, Robusto lost the lead and retired from the race with a flat tire, credited with a 17th place finish. To fill out the podium, Tyler Reif, driving for Central Coast Racing, would finish in 3rd, respectively.
