The 2024 NAPA Auto Care 150 was the 8th stock car race of the 2024 ARCA Menards Series West season, and the 1st iteration of the event. The race was held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Tri-City Raceway in West Richland, Washington, a 1/2 mile permanent paved oval shaped short track. The race took the scheduled 150 laps to complete.
The West Series first visited Tri-City in 1968, when Ray Elder drove his 1967 Dodge to victory. The West Series visited Tri-City infrequently in the years that followed, with competitors like Jim Cook, Jack McCoy, Roy Smith, Dirk Stephens, Mike Chase and Jason Jefferson securing victories at the half-mile tri-oval.
The first and only practice session was held on Saturday, August 10, at 2:45 PM PST, and would last for 1 hour. [3] Sean Hingorani, driving for Central Coast Racing, would set the fastest time in the session, with a lap of 19.144, and a speed of 94.024 mph (151.317 km/h). [4]

Qualifying was held on Saturday, August 10, at 4:45 PM PST. [3] The qualifying system used is a single-car, two-lap system with only one round. Drivers will be on track by themselves and will have two laps to post a qualifying time, and whoever sets the fastest time in that round will win the pole. [5]

The 2022 General Tire 150 was the second stock car race of the 2022 ARCA Menards Series, the first race of the 2022 ARCA Menards Series West and the 2022 Sioux Chief Showdown, and the third iteration of the event. The race was held on Friday, March 11, 2022, in Avondale, Arizona at Phoenix Raceway, a 1-mile (1.6 km) permanent low-banked tri-oval race track. The race was run over 154 laps due to an overtime finish. Taylor Gray of David Gilliland Racing would win the race after leading 43 laps. This was Gray's first career ARCA Menards Series win and his fourth career west series win. It was an emotional win, as Gray dedicated it to Steven Stotts, the DGR hauler driver who was killed following an accident in Longview, Texas, on March 8. To fill out the podium, Daniel Dye of GMS Racing and Sammy Smith of Kyle Busch Motorsports would finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

Close to the end, driver William Sawalich for Joe Gibbs Racing would win after passing Jesse Love for the lead with two laps to go, and held on to earn his first career win in the ARCA Menards Series. The race was originally scheduled to be contested over 150 laps, but was extended to 152 laps due to an overtime finish. In an action-packed race with post-race controversy, Sean Hingorani, driving for Venturini Motorsports, would take advantage of late teammate troubles from Isabella Robusto, and take the lead with 29 laps to go. After surviving numerous restarts, Hingorani held off Jack Wood in a one-lap shootout to earn his sixth career ARCA Menards Series West win, his second of the season, and his second consecutive win, sweeping both doubleheader races. Robusto and Trevor Huddleston were the most dominant drivers of the race, Robusto led 58 laps while Huddleston led a race-high 62 laps. After hitting the wall with 29 laps to go, Robusto lost the lead and retired from the race with a flat tire, credited with a 17th place finish.
