US Sailing's Miami Olympic Classes Regatta is an annual sailing regatta at the US Sailing Center in Miami, held since 1990. [1] It hosts the Olympic and Paralympic classes. [1]

Contents

It was part of the ISAF Sailing World Cup. [2] Since 2021 it is part of the US Open Sailing Series together with regattas in Ft. Lauderdale and Clearwater.

As of 2023, the biggest edition has been the 2015 event, which included 599 boats, 848 participants in total from 64 countries. [3]

The men's heavyweight event was part of the boxing programme at the 1992 Summer Olympics. The weight class allowed boxers of up to 91 kilograms to compete. The competition was held from 28 July to 8 August 1992. 23 boxers from 23 nations competed.

The 2019 World Cup of Pool was a professional pool doubles tournament, and the 13th edition of the World Cup of Pool. The event was contested by 32 pairs representing different nations, and took place at the Morningside Arena in Leicester, England, from 25 to 30 June 2019. As host nation, Great Britain were allowed to enter two teams in the draw.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Mixed-NOCs at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics</span> Sporting event delegation

Teams made up of athletes representing different National Olympic Committees (NOCs), called mixed-NOCs teams, participated in the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics. These teams participated in either events composed entirely of mixed-NOCs teams, or in events which saw the participation of mixed-NOCs teams and non-mixed-NOCs teams. When a mixed-NOCs team won a medal, the Olympic flag was raised rather than a national flag; if a mixed-NOCs team won gold, the Olympic anthem would be played instead of national anthems. A total of 6 events with Mixed NOCs were held.

The Esailing Team World Championship also known as the Esailing Nations' Cup is an annual esports competition, first held in 2020 and officially recognised by World Sailing the main sports governing body.
