United Arab Emirates participated at the 2018 Asian Para Games which was held in Jakarta, Indonesia from 6 to 13 October 2018. The Emirati delegation was composed of 42 athletes who competed in eight sports, namely: athletics, powerlifting, shooting, boccia, cycling, table tennis, archery and judo. [1]

The United Arab Emirates national football team represents the United Arab Emirates in international football and is controlled by the United Arab Emirates Football Association, the governing body for football in the United Arab Emirates and a member of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). They were for a time managed by legendary English manager Don Revie.
The United Arab Emirates Football Association is the governing body of football in the United Arab Emirates. The senior football national team made one World Cup appearance, in 1990 in Italy, won the Gulf Cup in 2007 and the Gulf Cup in 2013, the youth national team claimed the AFC U-19 Cup in 2008.
The China national cricket team is the team that represents the People's Republic of China in international cricket. The team is organised by the Chinese Cricket Association, which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2004 and an associate member in 2017. China did not make its debut in international cricket until the 2009 ACC Trophy Challenge, although the Shanghai Cricket Club had previously acted as a de facto national side, from 1866 playing interport matches against international teams. The Kuwaiti national ice hockey team is the national men's ice hockey team of Kuwait. They are controlled by the Kuwait Ice Hockey Association and has been an associate member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Kuwait is currently not ranked in the IIHF World Rankings and have not entered in any World Championships, but have played in the Challenge Cup of Asia, a regional tournament for lower-tier hockey nations in Asia. They made their debut at the 2018 World Championship Division III Qualification tournament.
The 2014 Asian Para Games, officially known as the 2nd Asian Para Games, was an Asian disabled multi-sport event held in Incheon, South Korea, from 18 to 24 October 2014, 2 weeks after the end of the 2014 Asian Games. This was the first time South Korea hosted the games. Around 4,500 athletes from 41 countries competed in the games which featured 443 events in 23 sports. The games was opened by the Prime Minister Chung Hong-won at the Incheon Munhak Stadium. The final medal tally was led by China, followed by host South Korea and Japan, while Kazakhstan, Myanmar, Singapore, Syria and Qatar won their first ever Asian Para Games gold medal. 24 world and 121 Asian records were broken during the Games.
The United Arab Emirates participated in the 2006 Asian Games held in Doha, Qatar from December 1 to December 15, 2006. The United Arab Emirates ranked 20th with 3 gold medals in this edition of the Asiad.

Since that time, they have won several Paralympic medals. The country had their debut on the international Paralympic stage at the 1990 Stoke Mandeville Games. The United Arab Emirates have competed at several other Paralympic events including the Arab Paralympic Games, Asian Paralympic Games, IWAS World Games, Stoke Mandeville Games, and World Semi-Olympic Championship. The United Arab Emirates Paralympic Committee is the national organisation, gaining its International Paralympic Committee recognition in 1995 and have subsequently made winning medals and hosting events a priority.
The Asian Paralympic Committee (APC) is an organization based in United Arab Emirates. It has 44 National Paralympic Committees of the Asian continent as members. It organizes the Asian Para Games.
The India National Beach Soccer Team represents India in international beach soccer competitions and is controlled by the AIFF, the governing body for football in India. So far the team has participated in the 2007 AFC Beach Soccer Championship and at the 2008 Asian Beach Games.

He made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for Afghanistan against the United Arab Emirates on 14 December 2016.
The 2017 Asian Youth Para Games, also known as the 3rd Asian Youth Para Games was a third edition of multi-sport event for Asian athletes with disability. This event was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Para Games went ahead despite the 2017 Asian Youth Games cancellation.
The Asia/Oceania Zone was the unique zone within Group 3 of the regional Davis Cup competition in 2017. The zone's competition was held in round robin format in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from 17 July to 22 July 2017. The two winning nations won promotion to Group II, Asia/Oceania Zone, for 2018.

It was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from the 7th to the 15th of November 2019. It was the 9th edition of the event, formerly known as the IPC Athletics World Championship prior to 2017.
