Singapore participated at the 2018 Asian Para Games which was held in Jakarta, Indonesia from 6 to 13 October 2018. [1]

Singapore competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, from 13 to 29 August 2004. This was the nation's thirteenth appearance at the Olympics, except for two different editions. Singapore was part of the Malaysian team at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, but did not attend at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, because of its support for the United States boycott.
The Asian Para Games is a multi-sport event regulated by the Asian Paralympic Committee that held every four years after every Asian Games for athletes with physical disabilities. Both events had adopted the strategy used by the Olympic and Paralympic Games of having both games in the same city. However, the exclusion of Asian Para Games from Asian Games host city contract meant that both events run independently of each other. The Games are recognized by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and are described as the second largest multi-sport event after the Paralympic Games.
The 2018 Asian Para Games, officially known as the 3rd Asian Para Games and also known as Indonesia 2018, was a pan-Asian multi-sport event that held from 6 to 13 October 2018 in Indonesia's capital city of Jakarta. The event paralleled the 2018 Asian Games and was held for Asian athletes with disability.
Macau, China participated at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia, from 18 August to 2 September 2018. The country have prepared more than 120 athletes to compete in 16 event at the Games. Macau announced its team of 110 athletes and 56 officials, medical staff, team leaders, coaches, that will take part in 16 competitions: swimming, diving, artistic swimming, athletics, badminton, bowling, boxing, canoeing, cycling, fencing, golf, judo, karate, squash, table tennis, taekwondo, triathlon, and wushu.
Singapore participated in the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia from 18 August to 2 September 2018. It was Singapore's 18th appearance at the Asian Games, having competed at every Games since 1951, and claimed 8 gold, 7 silver, and 12 bronze medals at the 2006 Doha, as their best achievement this far. At the last edition of 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea, the country won five gold, 6 silver, and 13 bronze medals.

The 2018 Asian Para Games opening ceremony was held on Saturday, 6 October 2018 at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia. The closing ceremony was held exactly a week later; Saturday, 13 October 2018 at the nearby, far smaller Gelora Bung Karno Madya Stadium. Both ceremonies were started on 19:00 local time (UTC+7) and ended around 22:00.
Toh Wei Soong is a Singaporean competitive swimmer. He was a bronze medallist in the S7 50M Freestyle at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. and he was also a two-time gold medallist at the 2018 Asian Para Games for the S7 50m Freestyle and the S7 100M Freestyle events.
Oman participated at the 2018 Asian Para Games which was held in Jakarta, Indonesia from 6 to 13 October 2018. Mansoor al Touqi, president of the Oman Paralympic Committee, was the chef-de-mission of the delegation. All its 9 athletes which consists of 5 men and 4 women participated in athletics. The team also consists of coaches, a physical therapist, and officials.
Qatar participated at the 2018 Asian Para Games which was held in Jakarta, Indonesia from 6 to 13 October 2018. The Qatari delegation was composed of 13 athletes who participated in two sports: seven in athletics and six in goalball. Abdulqader al-Mutawa was the head of the delegation, Mohamed Deheem al-Dosari was the deputy head of the mission, and Mohamed Suhail was the technical expert. Qatar won its sole medal through Sarah Hamdi Masoud in the sport of athletics.
Kuwait participated at the 2018 Asian Para Games which was held in Jakarta, Indonesia from 6 to 13 October 2018. The Kuwaiti delegation was composed of 23 athletes who competed in four sports, namely: table tennis, fencing, shooting para sports, and para athletics. Secretary of Kuwait Disabled Club Saad Al-Azmaa was the head of the delegation.
Uzbekistan participated at the 2018 Asian Para Games which was held in Jakarta, Indonesia from 6 to 13 October 2018. Uzbekistani delegation was composed of 53 athletes who competed in 5 sports, namely powerlifting, judo, shooting, swimming and athletics. In July 2019, Uzbekistan was stripped from 2 gold medals due to doping violation.
South Korea participated at the 2018 Asian Para Games which was held in Jakarta, Indonesia from 6 to 13 October 2018. The South Korean delegation was led by chef de mission Jun Min-sik, and composed of 307 people, which included 201 athletes. Korean Paralympic Committee (KPC) aims to finish third at the event with 33 gold, 43 silver and 49 bronze medals. South Korea marched along with North Korea under the Korean Unification Flag at the opening ceremony, and have together fielded unified Korean teams in men's table tennis team and the men's swimming freestyle relay and medley relay events.
Japan participated at the 2018 Asian Para Games in Jakarta, Indonesia from 6 to 13 October 2018. Its delegation was composed of 303 athletes.
Saudi Arabia participated at the 2018 Asian Para Games which was held in Jakarta, Indonesia from 6 to 13 October 2018. Saudi Arabian delegation was composed of 27 athletes who competed in 3 sports, namely athletics, powerlifting and wheelchair basketball. All its medals were won in the sport of athletics.
Pakistan participated at the 2018 Asian Para Games which was held in Jakarta, Indonesia from 6 to 13 October 2018. The team consisted of 4 athletes competed in athletics in which all three medals of the team: 2 golds and 1 bronze were won by one of its athletes, Haider Ali in Discus Throw, Javelin Throw and long jump events respectively.
