The University of Kentucky College of Public Health is a school of public health at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky, United States.
The University of Kentucky College of Public Health was founded in 2004. [2] Its programs are accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) and the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME). [3]
College of Public Health researchers are team scientists collaborating with researchers from other colleges and disciplines within the university as well as nationally and internationally.
"During Fiscal Year 2022, our faculty submitted 86 extramural grant proposals to a diverse pool of funding agencies. Projects led by our faculty received $19.9 million in funding from federal, state, and private sources to tackle tough issues such as cancer, opioid use disorder, environmental risks, injuries, and health disparities in communities throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky and across our nation. This research has translated into more than 300 peer review publications during FY 2022." [5]
The Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health is the public health school of Harvard University, located in the Longwood Medical Area of Boston, Massachusetts. The school grew out of the Harvard-MIT School for Health Officers, the nation's first graduate training program in population health, which was founded in 1913 and then became the Harvard School of Public Health in 1922.
