Campsicnemus Genus of flies

Campsicnemus is a genus of flies in family Dolichopodidae. There are more than 290 described species, made up of 34 Palearctic, 22 Nearctic, seven Afrotropic, 170 Australasian and Oceanian, and seven Indomalayan species. Some species endemic to the Hawaiian islands are characterized by their lack of wings. After the introduction of invasive ants and other alien species such as wild boar (Sus scrofa) to the islands, some of these flightless species are believed extinct.

Ortochile is a genus of flies in the family Dolichopodidae. It is distributed in the Western Palaearctic realm, including Europe, Turkey, Israel and North Africa. Adults of Ortochile have greatly elongated mouthparts, longer than the height of the head. They are associated with flowers, and have been reported to feed on nectar and pollen. Flower-feeding is also known in some species of Hercostomus.

Chrysotus is a genus of flies in the family Dolichopodidae. It is one of the largest genera in the subfamily Diaphorinae, with more than 460 species. However, the genus is probably paraphyletic, and possibly even polyphyletic, with respect to several related genera such as Achradocera, Falbouria and Lyroneurus.
