Hanuman, also called Maruti, Bajrangabali, and Anjaneya, is a Hindu god and a divine vanara companion of the god Rama. Hanuman is one of the central characters of the Hindu epic Ramayana. The Ranganatha Temple or the Neervana Perumal Temple is a Hindu temple in Thiruneermalai, a suburb of Chennai, India. It is dedicated to the Hindu deity Vishnu, regionally referred to as Neervana Perumal and Ranganatha. The complex is of two parts: one at the base of the hill for the primary deity Neervanan, featured in a standing posture, and also housing shrines of his consort Animamalarmangai Tayar, Kalyana Ramar, and Andal. The shrine for Anjaneya (Hanuman) is to the right, upon the hill shrine. The temple complex up the hill has three shrines for Ranganatha, found in reclining posture, Trivikrama, featured in a walking posture), Narasimha, featured in a sitting posture. There also exists a shrine for Ranganayaki Tayar, facing the east. It is a double prakaram temple. The Garuda shrine faces the deity.

The temple is located at hill top on the banks of Tungabhadra River in Hampi, Karnataka. Legend also says that, Lord Rama and Hanuman met for the first time here on a hill called Malyavana hill.
Uthiyur Hills also known as Poṉṉūthi Hills, Uuthi Malai are a range of mountains in the Kongu Region and span the Tiruppur district of Tamil Nadu. The hills is under control of Anamalai Tiger Reserves.
