Velour Live Music Gallery (often just Velour) is a music venue, on University Avenue, in Provo, Utah. Velour is owned by Corey Fox. It acts as an all-ages music venue catering to an eclectic mix of genres. It is also a smoking and alcohol free environment. [1]
Neon Trees (Mercury) credit Velour as their home venue which helped launch their career. [2] [3] [4] Other artists who similarly hold this same sentiment include major label artists Imagine Dragons (Interscope), Fictionist (Atlantic), [5] Isaac Russell (Columbia), [6] and notable folk singer Joshua James. [7] Other Utah artists have hailed the work of Corey Fox and the value of Velour Live Music Gallery including internet sensation Lindsey Stirling, Truman Brothers [8] and The Used (Hopeless). [9] Imagine Dragons and Neon Trees are both past winners of the Velour Battle of the Bands.
SPIN has also dubbed Velour Live Music Gallery one of the Best Kept Secrets in Utah. Similarly, the venue was listed on the "Best of Utah" in 2007. BYUtv indie music show AUDIO-FILES has had multiple episodes filmed at Velour including episodes featuring Imagine Dragons, Joshua James, Damien Jurado, and others.
Artists, including Imagine Dragons, Neon Trees, Sara Bareilles, Matt Nathanson, Ryan Bingham & The Dead Horses, Local Natives, The National Parks, and many more have played this small taste-making venue.

Daniel Coulter Reynolds is an American singer and songwriter. He is the lead vocalist of the pop rock band Imagine Dragons. They have toured nationally and have opened for acts including Imagine Dragons, Vampire Weekend, Neon Trees, Young the Giant, and Shiny Toy Guns.
BYU Noteworthy is a nine-member, female Brigham Young University (BYU) a cappella group, based in Provo, Utah, United States. They won 1st place at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) in 2007 and appeared on the first season of NBC's a cappella competition reality show The Sing-Off in 2009. Esther Yoder formed the group in 2003, aided by members of BYU's Vocal Point. Noteworthy began operating under the direction of the Performing Arts Management (PAM) at BYU in 2014. One of their most popular music videos is a cover of Amazing Grace, which won the Contemporary A Cappella Society (CARA) award for Best Religious Video and has garnered millions of views on YouTube since its release. Noteworthy has released six albums since its formation in 2003. In 2018, Noteworthy performed "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing" for a Mormon Message for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Audio-Files is a television music series produced by BYUtv. The series combines interviews, concerts, and behind-the-scenes footage of nationally rising indie bands. The show premiered on April 10, 2012, at 6:30 pm MST, 8:30 pm EST.

The band draws inspiration from early rock and roll and surf rock bands like The Surfaris, Dick Dale and Buddy Holly and modern influences like The Strokes and The Kooks. Kenneth Nathaniel Pyfer is an American record producer and songwriter/composer. Pyfer has collaborated with Kaskade and producer Finn Bjarnson on a number of projects including co-writing the Grammy nominated single "Atmosphere" on the eponymous album.

The Ryde is a bus service that provides transportation to the Brigham Young University (BYU) community in Provo, Utah, United States. The service is owned and operated by Student Movement, Inc. (SMI) and operates under the brand, "The Ryde". Although The Ryde began as a limited service paid shuttle bus, but the fall of 2015 it expanded to limited-service bus routes that are free to BYU students.
Matt Eastin is an American music video, documentary, and commercial director and editor. He is perhaps best known for his work with Imagine Dragons, directing and editing the Wrecked, Follow You, Cutthroat, Believer, Whatever it Takes, Roots, On Top of the World and Shots music videos. Eastin also co-created and directed the AUDIO-FILES TV series, which featured documentaries and live performances of indie bands in their home cities, such as The Head & the Heart, Low, Neon Trees, and Mates of State. Matt got his start by doing free music videos for bands in the Utah music scene, which were part of a collective production team called The Occidental Saloon. Matt has also directed and edited a number of commercial campaigns for Lagoon, an amusement park in Utah. In 2017, Matt partnered with Adobe Premiere and Imagine Dragons during the Adobe "Make The Cut" contest, which allowed fans and amateur editors to re-edit the raw footage from the Imagine Dragons "Believer" video for prizes.
Andrew Colin Beck is an American artist and musician. He was an early member of Imagine Dragons, currently a member of the Mellons, and also maintains a career as an illustrator.
Swim Herschel Swim was a ska band formed in Provo, Utah and active 1989 to 1993. The band's initial members were Rod Middleton, Jon Armstrong (keyboardist), Rich Hillquist (drums), Russell Cluff (bass), and Rick Anderson (guitar). Jeff Hubbard replaced Cluff on bass shortly after the band's formation, and Sam Reisner (saxophone) joined in 1991. Middleton and Armstrong continued in the band when the remaining members changed around 1992 to Pat Campbell (drums), Matt Corry (trombone), Kent Carter (bass), Andy Warr (saxophone), and Lou Eastman (guitar). Their manager Dave Merkley was also involved in many aspects of the band's development. Swim Herschel Swim opened for national bands Skankin' Pickle, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and No Doubt in 1992. While their charismatic performances and enthusiastic audiences made it difficult to find repeat venues, the band is praised for jump-starting the local music scene in Utah, specifically in ska music.
The 2022–23 BYU Cougars men's basketball team represented Brigham Young University during the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. In head coach Mark Pope's fourth season as BYU's head coach and the Cougars 12th and final season as members of the West Coast Conference (WCC) as they will begin as members of the Big 12 Conference in the 2023–24 season. The Cougars played their home games at the Marriott Center in Provo, Utah.
