Vetter Software is a privately owned web-based electronic health record (EHR) veterinary healthcare company founded in 2011, in Santa Clara, California. [2] The SaaS company provides a platform for veterinary physicians and pet care professionals. Vetter Software provides veterinary practice management software using the freemium model. [3] The software includes electronic health records (EHR), scheduling, inventory management, billing, lab integrations, and reports.

History

Vetter Software began in 2010 when Sagi Solomon's brother, Dr. Tal Solomon launched a mobile veterinary practice. Tal needed a way to access his records while he was visiting patients. After failing to find a system that worked, Tal approached Sagi with the idea of building one. Sagi spent the next several months building the first version of what is now Vetter Software. A second version of the platform was created when Jeff Ulrich joined. This second version was enhanced to become the 3rd version [5] which is the current platform.

Procedure templates were introduced in September, 2013. [6]

In December 2013, Tony Dawson joined Vetter Software as the Chief Revenue Officer [7] Shortly aftwards, Vetter Software announced their freemium version—believed to be the first freemium veterinary practice management software offering. [8] After the announcement of a freemium model, Vetter Software saw continued growth. [9]

In February 2014, Ross Campbell Joined Vetter Software at Vice President, Operations [10]
