The Wales Centre for Health (Welsh : Canolfan Iechyd Cymru) was a statutory organisation established on 1 April 2005, under the Health (Wales) Act 2003, [1] as a Welsh Assembly Sponsored Public Body. It had a broad remit for working with other organisations to help improve health in Wales. It was abolished on 1 October 2009 following the passing of The Wales Centre for Health (Transfer of Functions, Property, Rights and Liabilities and Abolition) (Wales) Order 2009. [2]

Theodore Huckle is a Welsh barrister. He served as the first and to date only independent professional Counsel General for Wales, the statutory Law Officer to the Welsh Government, during the governmental term of the 4th Assembly/Senedd. Upon nomination by the First Minister, his appointment was approved by the Senedd and formally made by the Queen on 21 July 2011, although he had been acting Counsel General from his birthday on 27 May 2011.
Mid Glamorgan County Council was the upper-tier authority for the Welsh county of Mid Glamorgan between its creation in 1974 and its abolition in 1996.
