Ware Shoals Inn is a historic hotel located at Ware Shoals, Greenwood County, South Carolina. It was built by the Ware Shoals Manufacturing Company in 1923, and is a three-story brick building with a partial basement. The modified V-shaped building features a raised porch at its truncated vertex. The Inn's design incorporates elements of the Arts and Crafts movement and Colonial Revival style. [2] [3]

Cornwell Inn, also known as Cornwell's, is a historic inn located near Blackstock, Chester County, South Carolina. The original portion was built about 1841, and is a 1 1/2 story, five bay, heavy-timber frame and weatherboard Federal style building, with a double pitched gable roof. It has two exterior end chimneys with free-standing chimney stacks and ten-foot deep, full length porches on two sides. A 1 1/2-story, five bay addition with a full basement was added shortly after the original construction. It is one of South Carolina's surviving early stagecoach stops on a main state road, the Charlotte to Charleston Road.
Lewis Inn is a historic inn near Chester, Chester County, South Carolina, United States. It was built about 1750 and is a "matched" two-story log house covered with clapboard. It was re-covered with brown shingles in 1923. It has a lateral gable roof, with exterior end chimneys, and a one-story right wing. The inn was a tavern during Colonial and Revolutionary days and also a stagecoach stop. In 1807, Aaron Burr spent the night there on his way to Richmond for trial on charges of treason. Legend has it that Burr escaped briefly because a bribed maid left his bedroom door unlatched.
Fountain Inn Principal's House and Teacherage is a historic home and teacherage located at Fountain Inn, Greenville County, South Carolina. It was built in 1935 as a home for teachers, and is the only remaining building associated with the Fountain Inn Negro School complex. The complex once included a grade school built in 1928, a high school built in 1930, a library, and the Clayton "Peg Leg" Bates Gymnasium, built in 1942. The school and its appurtenant buildings served the educational needs of the Fountain Inn's African American community until the students of this community were enrolled in Fountain Inn High School in the 1960s.

It has a jerkinhead roof and twin exterior end chimneys. It was the home of Joel Smith, who was an influential planter, merchant, banker, and supporter of industries and railroads.
Moore-Kinard House, also known as the J.M.C. Kinard House, is a historic home located near Ninety Six, Greenwood County, South Carolina. It was built about 1835, and is a two-story, frame, antebellum central-hall farmhouse, or I-house. Additions were made to the rear and one side of the house about 1900. Also on the property are the following contributing late-19th or early-20th century outbuildings: a smokehouse, cotton house, tool shed, ironing house, and well.
Old Greenwood High School is a historic high school building located at Greenwood, Greenwood County, South Carolina. It was designed by the firm of Wilson, Berryman & Kennedy and built in 1925–1926. It is a complex of three brick buildings – the main building, the auditorium, and the gymnasium – each of which is in the Georgian Revival style and form a Palladian configuration. Each of the three buildings features a portico supported by six Tuscan order columns. The complex was completed with construction of the gymnasium building in 1929–1930.
Russell House was a historic inn located near Mountain Rest, Oconee County, South Carolina. It was built about 1867, and considerably expanded around 1890, and served as an inn for travelers between Walhalla and the mountain resort area. The Russell House, two storage buildings, and a privy were destroyed by fire in 1988. Located on the property are the contributing ruins of a log barn, a spring house, outhouse, garage, corn crib, and potato cellar.
Mountain Shoals Plantation, also known as the James Nesbitt House, is a historic plantation house located at Enoree, Spartanburg County, South Carolina. It was built by 1837, and is a two-story, vernacular Federal style frame residence. It sits on a raised brick basement stuccoed to resemble granite and features a full-width, one-story, front porch. Also located on the property is a contributing well house and a one-story log cabin.
