Warwickshire is a landlocked county in the West Midlands region of England. The county town is Warwick, although the largest town is Nuneaton. The county is famous for being the birthplace of William Shakespeare.

2019 United Kingdom local elections

Local elections in the United Kingdom are scheduled to be held on Thursday 2 May 2019, contesting 248 English local councils, six directly elected mayors in England, and all 11 local councils in Northern Ireland. A total of 8773 councillors are due to be elected. Additionally, there will be by-elections for 39 local authority seats, taking the total number elected to 8812.

Elections to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council took place on 3 May 2018, as part of United Kingdom local elections, 2018. Half of the council was up for election and the Labour Party lost overall control of the council to no overall control.
