West District (Chinese :西區; pinyin :Xī Qū; Pe̍h-ōe-jī :Se-khu) is a district in west Chiayi City, Taiwan.

Four Four West Village

Four Four West Village, or Forty-Four West Village was a resident area in Taipei for the military personnel of the 44th Arsenal of Combined Logistics Command and their dependents, completed in June 1949. Originally, it is said to have housed 300 households.

The 2018 Taiwanese municipal elections for both mayoral and magisterial candidates were held on 24 November 2018, as part of the larger local elections in Taiwan.

Hua Islet is an islet in Huayu Village, Wangan Township, Penghu County, Taiwan. Hua Islet is the westernmost point in Penghu. The island has also been known as "West Islet" (西嶼). The Japanese-built Huayu Lighthouse is located on the southwestern hill of the island.
