The Women's Asian Champions Trophy is a biennial women's international field hockey competition contested by the best six women's national teams of the member associations of Asian Hockey Federation. [1]
The tournament has been won by three teams. India and South Korea have the most wins with three titles each. [2] In 2021, the tournament expanded to six teams.

The tournament was scheduled to be held in Kakamigahara, Japan from 6 to 12 April 2020. In March 2020 it was announced that the tournament would be postponed due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic. On 27 October 2020 it was announced the tournament would be held from 16 to 22 August 2021. On 13 August 2021, the tournament was officially cancelled.
