Xiuninggpus is an extinct ichnogenus of dinosaur footprint. There are two known ichnospecies, X. xintanensis and X. qukouensis. [1]

1994 Taiwan Strait earthquake

The 1994 Taiwan Strait earthquake occurred on 16 September 1994, at 14:20 local time in the southern Taiwan Strait. The magnitude of this earthquake was given as Mw 6.8 by USGS and Ms 7.3 by Fujian Seismological Bureau. The epicenter was located about 150 to 180 km from the coast of the border of Guangdong and Fujian, and about 150 km southwest of Taiwan.

Lake Furukawanuma

Lake Furukawanuma was a lake that existed in Rikuzentakata, Iwate, Japan until March 11, 2011. When the 2011 Tohoku earthquake struck, the resulting tsunami destroyed the sand wall that separated the lake from the sea. The lake's western edge thus became part of the new coastline, and the lake became part of the sea.

A ferry runs between Tongpan Island and Penghu Main Island twice a day and more often at some times. The island has also been known as Xiao'anshan (小案山).

Taizhou Metro

Taizhou Metro, also known as Taizhou Rail Transit, is a metro system in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, China. The system is operated by Taizhou Rail Transit Construction and Development Co., Ltd. In the near term, two lines, S1 and S2, are planned; in the long term, lines S3 and S4 are planned. Th system will have a total length of 215 km once completed in 2025. The first phase of the plan was approved by the Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China in December 2014, and approved by the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission in September 2016. Construction of the S1 line started in November 2016.
