He made his debut on DJ Playero's Playero 34 mixtape, released in 1991. He was later featured on Playero's 37 and 38 albums, before releasing his first solo record in 1995, titled No Mercy. During the rest of the 1990s, he continued working on underground reggaeton records and released his first album as producer El Cartel de Yankee in 1997. After the release of his 2001 independent album El Cartel II: Los Cangris, he released his second studio album, El Cangri.com, in June 2002. Ayala, Victor Delgado, Eliezer Palacios, Gabriel Rodríguez, Francisco Saldaña, Geancarlos Rivera Tapia and Jonathan Rivera Tapia, it was produced by Luny Tunes, Jonathan Rivera Tapia and Predikador. It was announced through his Twitter that the song would be released as the third single off the album on February 10, 2014. Dangerous is the third studio album by Puerto Rican reggaeton and pop artist Yandel, of the duo Wisin & Yandel, released worldwide on November 6, 2015 through Sony Music Latin. Contrary of his previous studio album, De Líder A Leyenda, Dangerous focuses mainly on reggaeton music, with some synthpop and electropop exceptions. It features reggaeton artists including Nicky Jam, Tego Calderón, Gadiel and De La Ghetto, as well as artists from other genres like Lil Jon, Pitbull, French Montana, Future, Shaggy and Alex Sensation. As of March 2016, the album includes only one single: "Encantadora", released on October, as well as a promotional electropop song titled "Somos Uno", released on September 18, 2015. It reached the top position on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart, surpassing 5,000 copies sold as of November 12, 2015. The album also reached the 10th position on Billboard's Best Latin Albums of 2015 ranking, being one of the two reggaeton albums that were chosen by the magazine's editors, the other one being The Last Don 2 by Don Omar, who reached the 9th position. Dangerous received a latin platinum certification in October 2016 by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for surpassing 60,000 copies sold in the United States. "Te Boté" is a song recorded by Puerto Rican rappers Nio García, Darell and Casper Mágico. The song was released by Flow La Movie Inc. as a single on December 1, 2017, for digital download and streaming. On April 13, 2018, a remixed version of "Te Boté" featuring American artist Nicky Jam and Puerto Rican artists Bad Bunny and Ozuna was released as single. An English remix of the song by Conor Maynard featuring Anth was released on May 19, 2018. Another remix entitled "Te Boté II", by Casper Magico, Nio Garcia and Cosculluela, featuring Wisin & Yandel and Jennifer Lopez, was released on December 18, 2018.

The track was written by Daddy Yankee, Wisin, Yandel, Rafael Pina, Eric "Lobo" Rodríguez, Juan "Gaby Music" Rivera, Francisco "Luny" Saldaña, and Marco "Tainy" Masis, and was produced by Dominican producer Luny and Puerto Rican producer Tainy.

Jesús Manuel Nieves Cortés, known professionally as Jhayco, is a Puerto Rican rapper and singer from Río Piedras, San Juan. After releasing multiple EPs, his debut studio album Famouz was released in 2019.

Por Primera Vez is the debut studio album by Colombian singer Camilo, released on April 17, 2020, through Sony Music. The album was produced by Camilo himself alongside Mary Conde Sietesuelas, with Edgar Barrera, Tainy, Andrés Saavedra and Rafa Arcaute also appearing in some tracks as producers. It features collaborations with Camilo's wife Evaluna Montaner, Mexican singer Christian Nodal, Puerto Rican singer Pedro Capó and Colombian singer Shakira, the latter two in the song "Tutu" and its remix, respectively.
