The Yeovil and District Football League is a football competition based in England. It has a total of three divisions including the Yeovil and District League Premier Division which sits at level 14 of the English football league system. It is a feeder to the Somerset County League [1] and is affiliated to the Somerset County FA.
In 1974 Westland-Yeovil progressed from the Y&DFL to the Western Football League where they spent 6 seasons. [2]

Yeovil Town Football Club is a professional association football club based in the town of Yeovil in Somerset, England. The team compete in the National League, the fifth level of the English football league system, after winning the 2023–24 National League South title. The club's home ground is Huish Park, built in 1990 on the site of an old army camp. That stadium is named after their former home, Huish, known for its pitch, which had an 8 feet (2.4 m) sideline to sideline slope. The club's nickname "the Glovers" is a reference to the history of glove-making in the town of Yeovil, which became a centre of the industry during the 18th and 19th centuries.
Yeovil is a town and civil parish in Somerset, England. The population of Yeovil at the last census (2021) was 49,698. It is close to Somerset's southern border with Dorset, 126 miles (203 km) west of London, 41.8 miles (67.3 km) south of Bristol, 6 miles (9.7 km) west of Sherborne and 27.6 miles (44.4 km) east of Taunton.
