Yi An-sa (died 1274) was a Goryeo nobleman [1] who would became the great-great-grandfather of Yi Seonggye,founder of the Joseon Dynasty.
In 28 July 1392,when Taejo made a new dynasty,he was granted the royal title King Mok (목왕,穆王). [2] After his death in 1274,he was buried in Deokneung,Neung-ri,Gapyeong-myeon,Siheung-gun,Hamgyeongnam-do,North Korea and given the temple name Mokjo (목조,穆祖) by his great-great-great-grandson,King Taejong in 22 April 1411 along with his posthumous name. [3]
Sunjong,the Emperor Yunghui,was the second and the last Emperor of Korea,of the Yi dynasty,ruling from 1907 until 1910. Sunjong elevated to the throne after his predecessor,Gojong,was forced to abdicate by the Japanese Empire. Hence,Sunjong has been characterized by historians as being a powerless puppet emperor of the Japanese,reigning just over three years until Korea was officially annexed in 1910.
Choe Hang (1409–1474) was a prominent civil minister and scholar who came from the Saknyeong Choe clan during the Joseon Dynasty.
Queen Cheorin,of the Andong Kim clan,was queen consort of Joseon by marriage to King Cheoljong. She was known as Queen Dowager Myeongsun (명순대비) after the death of her husband and during King Gojong's reign. When King Gojong proclaimed the Korean Empire,the Queen was posthumously given the title of "Cheorin,the Symbolic Empress".
Duke Shim Soon-Taek or Sim Sun-taek (1824–1906) was a high-ranking official of the Korean Empire who proposed an anti-Japan policy. He came from the Cheongsong Shim clan. Gojong of Korea awarded the Order of the Plum Blossom to Shim in 1902. In 1906,Shim got the title of Duke. Shim told Gojong that he does not need a title but,Gojong replied him that the reason why he ennobled Shim was because Shim has a lot of merits.
Grand Prince Hyoryeong,personal name Yi Bo,was the second son of King Taejong of Joseon and his wife,Queen Wongyeong. He was the elder brother of Sejong the Great.
Queen Jeinwondeok,of the Geochang Sin clan,was the wife and queen consort of Yi Yung,King Yeonsan,the 10th Joseon monarch. She was queen consort of Joseon from 1494 until her husband's deposition in 1506,after which she was known as Deposed Queen Sin. She didn't receive posthumous name as a queen after her death.
Prince Sanggye or Crown Prince Wanpung was a Korean prince,an adopted son of Jeongjo of Joseon and biological child of Prince Euneon. His first name was Yi Jun,his changed name was Yi Dam,and his other name was Yi Shik. His posthumous epithet is unknown.
Grand Internal Princess Consort Sunmok,known before as Grand Internal Princess Consort Yeoheung,was a Korean noblewoman who became a Joseon dynasty royal family member through her marriage with Internal Prince Heungseon,and was the biological mother of Emperor Gojong of Korea.
Kim Mun-geun,posthumously called Duke Chungsung,was a Korean nobleman and politician during the late Joseon Period,who served as chief of Yeongdonnyeong (영돈녕부사) and Chongyung (총융사) and as a training commander (훈련대장). He was also the father of Queen Cheorin,primary wife of King Cheoljong.
Grand Prince Wolsan was a Korean Royal Prince as the oldest son of Deokjong of Joseon and Queen Sohye. His personal name was Yi Jeong.
Yi Chun or Yi Seon-Rae,his Mongolian name was Bayan Temür was the father of Hwanjo of Joseon and the biological grandfather of Taejo of Joseon,the founder of the Joseon Dynasty in Korea. After his death,he was given the temple name Dojo by his great-grandson,King Taejong.

Grand Internal Princess Consort Hadong,of the Hadong Jeong clan,was a Korean Joseon dynasty royal family member though her marriage with Grand Internal Prince Deokheung,the son of Jungjong of Joseon and Royal Consort Chang of Ansan Ahn clan,and the biological mother of Seonjo of Joseon. However,she died not long before her third son ascended the throne.
Deokheung Daewongun,known before as Prince Deokheung before becoming Daewongun,personal name Yi Cho was a royal family member of the Joseon dynasty and the first Daewongun in Korean. He was the second son of Jungjong of Joseon and Royal Noble Consort Chang of the Ansan An clan,also the biological father of Seonjo of Joseon.
Yi Hwa (1348–1408) or formally called as Grand Prince Uian,was a warrior and scholar during the Later Goryeo dynasty,also the royal family member in the Early Joseon dynasty. He was the only son Yi Jachun and Gim Goeumga,also the half younger brother of Yi Seonggye.
Grand Prince Neungwon,personal name Yi Bo was a Korean Politician in the Late Joseon dynasty. He was also a Korean Royal Prince as the second son of Wonjong of Joseon and Queen Inheon of the Neungseong Gu clan. He was the younger brother of Injo of Joseon.
Prince Neungchang or formally called Grand Prince Neungchang personal name Yi Jeon was a Korean Royal Prince as the third son of Wonjong of Joseon and Queen Inheon of the Neungseong Gu clan. He was the second little brother of Injo of Joseon. It was said that he was good in horse riding and martial arts.
Prince Neungpung,personal name Yi Myeong,was a Mid-late Joseon Royal Prince of Korea and the only son of Wonjong of Joseon and Lady of the Pyeongyang Gim clan. He was the younger half brother of Injo of Joseon.
Grand Internal Princess Consort Wanyang,of the Jeonju Choi clan,was a member of the Joseon royal family,as the legitimate wife of Grand Internal Prince Jeongye. As the primary consort,she became the adoptive mother of King Cheoljong of Joseon and was given the royal title after his ascension. She also bore Jeongye a son,Prince Hoepyeong.
