You Forget to Answer is a live album by bassist Barry Guy, saxophonist Mats Gustafsson, and percussionist Raymond Strid. Five of the album's tracks were recorded on November 16, 1994, at BBC London, while the remaining tracks were recorded on July 24, 1995, at Jazz Gallery Nickelsdorf, Austria. The album was released in 1996 by Maya Recordings. [1] [2] In addition to appearing on soprano, tenor, and baritone saxophones, Gustafsson is also heard on fluteophone, a flute with a saxophone mouthpiece attached to one end, and a clarinet stand stuck into the other. In a review for AllMusic, Brian Olewnick wrote: "Guy is consistently inventive, prodding, and exploratory, and finds an excellent partner in Strid, whose cadences often have the natural rhythm of an upended cupboardful of kitchenware... On cuts like the closing 'The Importance of Oxidation,' the sounds flower into a spellbinding and thrilling whole and cause one to hunger for more. Recommended." [4]
The authors of the Penguin Guide to Jazz Recordings awarded the album 4 stars, noting that although "Gustafsson is the obvious star," "Guy is the fulcrum and the driving force of this group, creating a complex fabric of sound and pushing the two younger men out into areas that don't so much suggest total abstraction as a kind of mathematical abstractness... that is... deeply exciting." [3]
Peter Margasak, writing for the Chicago Reader , stated that the album "displays the sort of clairvoyance that distinguishes the most exciting improv, but it works according to an innate architectural sense that reflects the interest of all three musicians in composed music." [5]

It was recorded on January 22, 1996, at the Radio House, Studio 2, in Stockholm, and was released by the Music & Arts label in 1997. In 2017, the album was reissued in digital form by Catalytic Sound.
Witchdoctor's Son is an album by bassist and pianist Johnny Dyani. It was recorded on March 15, 1978, and was released on LP later that year by SteepleChase Records. On the album, Dyani is joined by saxophonists John Tchicai and Dudu Pukwana, guitarist Alfredo Do Nascimento, and percussionists Mohamed Al-Jabry and Luez "Chumi" Carlos De Sequarira. Documenting a performance of a single 39-minute work, it was recorded on May 23, 1999, at the Festival de Musique de Actuelle Victoriaville in Victoriaville, Quebec, Canada, and was released on CD in 2000 by Okka Disk. The Chicago Octet/Tentet is a live album by saxophonist Peter Brötzmann on which he is joined by two large ensembles known as the Chicago Octet and Tentet. Six tracks were recorded live at The Empty Bottle in Chicago on January 29, 1997, and September 17, 1997, while the remaining six tracks were recorded at AirWave Studio in Chicago on September 16, 1997. The album was released in 1998 as a limited-edition three-CD set by the Okka Disk label, and, in addition to Brötzmann, features saxophonists Mats Gustafsson, Joe McPhee, Ken Vandermark, and Mars Williams, trombonist Jeb Bishop, cellist Fred Lonberg-Holm, double bassist Kent Kessler, and drummers Hamid Drake and Michael Zerang.
