Young Love is the third studio album by Irish pop duo Jedward. The album was released on 22 June 2012. [1] In January 2012, Jedward began recording material for their third studio album, including their 2012 Eurovision Song Contest entry "Waterline". This recording was done at Wendy House Productions, in West London. The rest of the album was recorded in March at a studio in Sweden. [2] Young Love is a concept album recounting the story of a relationship, from its beginning to end. [3] In 2012 the album was given Gold certification in Ireland. [4]

Chart performance

The album debuted at number one on the Irish Albums Chart, [24] thus becoming the twins' third consecutive album to debut at the top spot of their home country's album chart. [25] [26] Despite minimal promotion outside Ireland, the album debuted at number 63 on the United Kingdom Albums Chart, with sales of 2,241 copies in the country during its first week of release. [27] The album also charted at number eight on the Estonian album charts. [28]

t.A.T.u. Russian musical duo

t.A.T.u. were a Russian music duo that consisted of Lena Katina and Julia Volkova. The singers were part of children's music group Neposedy before being managed by producer and director Ivan Shapovalov and signing with Russian record label Neformat. t.A.T.u.'s debut album 200 Po Vstrechnoy (2001) was a commercial success in Eastern Europe, and that made the duo sign with Interscope Records to release its English-language counterpart, 200 km/h in the Wrong Lane (2002). The album was certified platinum by the IFPI for one million copies sold in Europe and became the first album by a foreign group to reach number one in Japan. It was also certified gold in the United States and included the international hits "All the Things She Said" and "Not Gonna Get Us". The duo represented Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 with the song "Ne ver', ne boysia", finishing third.

Blue are an English boy band consisting of members Simon Webbe, Duncan James, Antony Costa and Lee Ryan. The group formed in 2000 and released three studio albums before announcing a hiatus In late 2004. They have released 24 singles, including "Under Pressure ", "Lipstick", the song with which they represented Ireland at Eurovision 2011, and "Waterline", with which they represented Ireland at Eurovision 2012. They have released 28 music videos, 21 of which they directed or co-directed themselves.

Ireland participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song "Waterline" written by Nick Jarl and Sharon Vaughn. The song was performed by the duo Jedward, who had previously represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 where they achieved eighth place with the song "Lipstick". The Irish broadcaster Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ) organised the national final Eurosong 2012 in order to select the Irish entry for the 2012 contest in Baku, Azerbaijan. Five songs faced the votes of five regional juries and a public televote, ultimately resulting in the selection of "Waterline" performed by Jedward as the Irish Eurovision entry.

Roulette is the fourth studio album by English boy band Blue, released on 25 January 2013. The album was preceded by the release of the lead single, "Hurt Lovers", on 4 January 2013, and also includes the band's Eurovision entry single, "I Can". The album was released in Germany and certain other European territories on 25 January. It was released in the United Kingdom on 28 April 2013. The album was re-released on 4 November 2013 in the form of a deluxe tour edition, containing a bonus disc featuring a number of remixes of tracks from the album. The band embarked on the European Roulette Tour from May to December 2013 in promotion of the album.

"Believe in Me" is a song by Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler from her sixteenth studio album Rocks and Honey (2013). American songwriter Desmond Child composed the song with British songwriters Lauren Christy and Christopher Braide. It was released as the album's lead single on 13 March 2013. The song was written to "uplift the world", and was completed by Child whilst having dinner with Tyler.
