Planet Jedward is the debut studio album by Irish pop duo Jedward. The album was released on 16 July 2010. The album charted at No. 1 in Ireland and No. 17 in the UK. Critical reaction was largely negative.
The album was released via Absolute Records, a minor subsidiary of the Universal Music Group label. However, the twins' debut single, "Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)", had been released by Sony Music. The album itself consists entirely of cover versions.
Following the duo's Eurovision success in May 2011, a version of Planet Jedward was released across Europe in July, mainly consisting of previously unheard tracks from the duo's second studio album, Victory . This version of the album also included their Eurovision Song Contest 2011 entry, "Lipstick".
In 2010, the original album was certified double platinum in Ireland, [1] meaning that between 30,000 and 44,999 copies had been sold in the country as of the date of the certification. [2] In the UK, the album had sold 31,251 copies as of August 2011. [3]

The album was received extremely negatively by critics. The Guardian 's Caroline Sullivan said "it would be stretching a point to say I'd ever want to hear it again." [9] Virgin Media criticised the "painfully wooden dialogue before the layers of auto-tuned backing vocalists kick in." [12] The Scotsman called it "a 35-minute comedy of errors". [11] Digital Spy said it "contains more crimes against music than the combined discographies of The Cheeky Girls, Phil Collins and Lou Bega." [5] The duo's compatriot newspaper Irish Independent were unsympathetic and declared "Burn it: In the traditional sense of the word, burn the entire thing." [14] OK! magazine said it was "all very karaoke and never going to win any awards, but it's fun. To sum up, Planet Jedward is great for a short visit but we're not sure we'd want to live there!" [15]

Blue are an English boy band consisting of members Simon Webbe, Duncan James, Antony Costa and Lee Ryan. The group formed in 2000 and released three studio albums before announcing a hiatus In late 2004. In January 2011, the group reformed and represented the United Kingdom at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf with the song "I Can", coming in 11th place with 100 points. In 2013, it was confirmed that the group would be joining The Big Reunion, in which six groups from the past reform for a one-off gig. On 27 March 2013, the group announced they would embark on their first headlining tour later on in the year, their first tour in nearly ten years.

Sweet 7 is the seventh studio album by British girl group Sugababes, released on 15 March 2010 by Island Records. Production for the album began in April 2009. Sweet 7 is the only Sugababes album to feature Eurovision Song Contest 2009 entrant Jade Ewen following the controversial departure of Keisha Buchanan in September 2009. "Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)" is the debut single by Irish pop duo Jedward. The song is a medley of "Under Pressure", originally recorded in 1981 by Queen and David Bowie, and the 1990 Vanilla Ice single "Ice Ice Baby". "Ice Ice Baby" originally sampled the bassline from "Under Pressure". Vanilla Ice also provides vocals for the track.

Alexis Jordan is the debut and only studio album by American singer Alexis Jordan. It was released from February 25, 2011, through Roc Nation. After being signed to rapper Jay-Z's Roc Nation label in March 2010, Jordan began working with Norwegian production duo Stargate on the album, Jordan also worked with producers Sandy Vee, Nightwatch, Espionage. The album was recorded between January 2007 and October 2010.
"Lipstick" is a song by Irish pop duo Jedward. It is written by Danish songwriters Lars Jensen and Martin Larsson and British lyricist Dan Priddy. It is Jedward's third single and the first song released from their second studio album, Victory and is best known as Ireland's entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 held in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Echoes is the fifth studio album by English recording artist Will Young. It was released by RCA Records and Sony Music on 19 August 2011. Young Love is a concept album recounting the story of a relationship, from its beginning to end. In 2012 the album was given Gold certification in Ireland.

Meet the Vamps is the debut studio album by British pop band The Vamps. It was initially released in Australia and New Zealand on 11 April 2014, and released in the United Kingdom through Virgin EMI Records on 14 April. The album includes the UK top-five singles "Can We Dance", "Wild Heart", "Last Night" and "Somebody to You".
