The IWF Youth World Championships is organised by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF). [1] [2] The first competition was held in May 2009. [3] [4]

Kamila Sergiivna Konotop is a Ukrainian weightlifter. She won the silver medal in the women's 59 kg event at the 2023 World Weightlifting Championships held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She is a four-time medalist, including three gold medals, at the European Weightlifting Championships. Konotop represented Ukraine at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan and the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.

Nurul Akmal is an Indonesian weightlifter of Acehnese descent. She won the silver medal in the women's +90 kg event at the 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games held in Baku, Azerbaijan. She also represented Indonesia at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, as well as the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.

Kuinini Juanita Mechteld Manumua is a Tongan-American weightlifter. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the Women's +87 kg category, the first athlete representing Tonga to do so. She placed in eighth.

Rizki Juniansyah is an Indonesian weightlifter who currently specializes in the men’s 73 kg lightweight class and holds various world records at the youth, junior, and senior IWF competition levels. He is the current Olympic champion, having won gold at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, making him Indonesia’s youngest Olympic gold medalist in history and its first in weightlifting.
