Oceania Weightlifting Championships

The Oceania Weightlifting Championships is the continental weightlifting championships for Oceanian nations, organised by the Oceania Weightlifting Federation (OWF). Since 1993, the event also incorporates the South Pacific Weightlifting Championships. [1]

Weightlifting at the 2019 Pacific Games in Apia, Samoa was held on 9–13 July 2019 at the Faleata Sports Complex in Tuanaimato. The competition included ten men's and ten women's weight classes, with separate medals awarded in each weight class for the snatch and clean and jerk, as well as for the total lift.

The Pan American Weightlifting Championships is the continental weightlifting championships for nations from North America, Central America, South America and the Caribbean organised by Pan American Weightlifting Federation (PAWF).

The 2018 Oceania Weightlifting Championships took place at the Complexe Sportif de Boulari in Le Mont-Dore, New Caledonia from 26 to 30 June 2018.

The 2017 Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships were held at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre in Gold Coast, Australia from 4 to 9 September 2017.

The 2014 Oceania Weightlifting Championships took place at the Complexe Sportif de Boulari in Le Mont-Dore, New Caledonia from 28 to 31 May 2014.

The 2012 Oceania Weightlifting Championships took place at the Faleata Sports Complex in Apia, Samoa from 6 to 9 June 2012. Together with that year's Commonwealth Championships, they were held concurrently as a single event designated the 2012 Oceania & Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships.
