Yvonne Tousek-Renne (born February 23, 1980 in Kitchener, Ontario) is a retired artistic gymnast who competed for her native Canada in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta and the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.
Tousek-Renne qualified to the all-around finals at both Games, placing 26th all-around in Atlanta and 32nd all-around in Sydney. [1]
She also competed in four World Gymnastics Championships: 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1999. Her best finish at a Worlds was 8th place on floor exercise at the 1999 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Tianjin, China. [2]
At the 1999 World Championships, she also performed an original gymnastics skill that bears her name in the artistic gymnastics Code of Points: the Tousek, a cross-wise back handspring on balance beam. [3]
At the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Tousek-Renne won floor exercise and uneven bars and placed 4th all-around. [4]
In 2000, Tousek-Renne won the all-around, bars and floor exercise at the Canadian National Gymnastics Championships, and she placed second on vault and balance beam. [4]
During her elite career, Tousek-Renne trained with coach Elvira Saadi at Cambridge Kips in Cambridge, Ontario. [5]

During her college career with the UCLA Bruins, the freshman Tousek-Renne earned the uneven bars title at the 2001 NCAA women's gymnastic championships.
She placed fifth on bars in the event finals at the 2002 and 2003 NCAA championships, and she placed fifth on balance beam in the 2004 NCAA championships.
She also scored perfect 10s on uneven bars in the 2003 UCLA vs. Arkansas meet and the 2004 UCLA vs. Michigan meet. [7]
In 2006, [8] she went to work as an acrobat for the Cirque du Soleil show Corteo. Her acts in the show included "Animation," which sets the stage for the show, plus the trampoline act "Bouncing Beds" and the high-bar act "Tournik." She also performed two comedic turns as an oversized golf ball and as half of a costumed horse. [9] As of 2016, Tousek-Renne, who plays an Amazon in the show, continues to travel the world with Cirque du Soleil. [10]
In 2012, Tousek-Renne married Yohann Renne, a Cirque high-bar artist from France. [11] Tousek-Renne and Renne had their first child, a girl, in early June 2014. Tousek-Renne was on maternity leave in early 2014 and toured North America with Renne, who is head coach on Cirque du Soleil's 2014 touring show, Amalun. [12]
Terin Marie Humphrey is a retired American artistic gymnast. She competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, where she helped the United States team place second and won an individual silver medal on the uneven bars. Humphrey was inducted into the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame in 2008 as a member of the 2003 World Championships team, and in 2015 as an individual gymnast.
Mohini Bhardwaj is an American retired artistic gymnast who competed at the 1997 and 2001 World Championships and earned a silver medal with the American team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and is a member of the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame. She is the first Indian-American gymnast, and the second Indian-American athlete in any sport, to medal at the Olympics.
Kate Richardson is a former artistic gymnast who represented Canada at the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics. From 2002 to 2006, she also competed for the UCLA Bruins.
Mary Elise Ray is an American gymnast who represented the United States at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney and the 1999 World Championships. She was the head gymnastics coach at the University of Washington from 2016 to 2020.
Jamie Annette Dantzscher is an American former artistic gymnast. She was a member of the bronze-medal-winning American team at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney.
Kristen Ann Maloney is a retired gymnast from Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania, in the United States. She won bronze in the team event at the 2000 Olympic Games. Maloney was also the U.S. senior all-around national champion in 1998 and 1999 and the 1998 Goodwill Games gold medalist on the balance beam.
Tasha Schwikert Warren is a retired American gymnast who is a 2000 Olympic bronze medalist, a World Gymnastics Championships team gold medalist, the 2001 and 2002 U.S. senior national all-around champion and the 2005 and 2008 NCAA all-around national champion.

The UCLA Bruins women's gymnastics team represents the University of California, Los Angeles and competes in the Pac-12 Conference. They currently compete in Pauley Pavilion, Los Angeles, CA. The team, coached by Janelle McDonald, has won 21 Regional titles and 7 NCAA National Championships, most recently in 2018.
Jordyn Marie Wieber is an American former artistic gymnast turned gymnastics coach. Since April 2019, she has been the head coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks gymnastics team.

Katelyn Michelle Ohashi is an American former artistic gymnast who competed for the University of California, Los Angeles. She is a six-time All-American and was a four-time member of USA Gymnastics' Junior National Team, the 2011 junior national champion and the winner of the 2013 American Cup. She trended globally on various social media networks in January 2019 for her perfect 10 score at the 2019 Collegiate Challenge, the fourth perfect 10 floor routine of her career. Ohashi incorporated current, popular dance elements into her floor routines.
Christine Jennifer Peng-Peng Lee is a retired Canadian artistic gymnast. She was a member of the Canadian team that qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics, though a knee injury prevented her from competing in the Games. She attended UCLA and led the gymnastics team to the 2018 NCAA National Championship. Lee prefers to use her Chinese name Peng Peng when doing gymnastics, saying it makes her feel like "someone completely different."
Shang Chunsong is a senior elite Chinese artistic gymnast. She represented China at the 2013, 2014, and 2015 World Championships and was a member of the Chinese silver-medal-winning teams at the latter two events. Shang was the captain of the bronze-medal-winning team at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she placed 4th in the individual all-around competition. Domestically, she is the 2015 and 2016 Chinese national all-around champion.
Madison Taylor Kocian is a retired American artistic gymnast. On the uneven bars, she is one of four 2015 world champions and the 2016 Olympic silver medalist. She was part of the gold medal-winning team dubbed the "Final Five" at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, and was a member of the first-place American teams at the 2014 and 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2020, where she was a member of its NCAA women's gymnastics team.
Nia Camille Dennis is a retired American collegiate artistic gymnast. She was a member of the USA National Team from 2012 to 2016. She is the 2014 Pacific Rim team champion and junior all-around and vault silver medalist. She was a member of the UCLA Bruins women's gymnastics team.
Margaret Mary Nichols is an American former collegiate artistic gymnast. She was the ninth NCAA gymnast to complete a Gym Slam, the first to do so for Oklahoma, and the first NCAA gymnast to have achieved it twice.
