Zsombor Berecz (born 26 April 1986 in Budapest) is a Hungarian sailor. [1] [2] He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Finn class, winning the silver medal, and in the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics in the Men's Laser class, where he finished 29th and 21st respectively. [3]
The 1948 Summer Olympics were an international multi-sport event held from 29 July to 14 August 1948 in London, United Kingdom. Following a twelve-year hiatus caused by the outbreak of World War II, these were the first Summer Olympics held since the 1936 Games in Berlin. Two Egyptian weightlifters were awarded medals retroactively, after higher-ranked competitors were disqualified for doping: Abeer Abdelrahman took silver in the women's 75 kg event, while Tarek Yehia, received bronze in the men's 85 kg event. Nikolaus Resch is an Austrian sailor. At the 2004 Summer Olympics, he and team-mate, Nico Delle-Karth, competed in the mixed Skiff 49er event, finishing in 10th place. They competed at together again at the 2008 Summer Olympics, finishing in 8th place. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in the 49er class, the pairing finished in 4th place.
Gustavo Lima is a Portuguese sailor. Competing in the 2000 Summer Olympics, he finished 6th in the laser class. He improved his position by one place, finishing 5th at the 2004 Olympics. He finished 4th at the 2008 Summer Olympics. He also competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the Men's Laser class.

Tamás Kulifai is a Hungarian sprint canoeist. He won a silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the K-4 1000 m event, with Zoltan Kammerer, David Toth and Daniel Pauman. In June 2015, he competed for Hungary at the inaugural European Games, again in the Men's K-4 1000m sprint canoe, with the same team. The team earned a gold medal.

Dániel Ligeti is an amateur Hungarian freestyle wrestler, who competes in the men's super heavyweight category. He won the bronze medal for his division at the 2011 European Wrestling Championships in Dortmund, Germany, and silver at the 2012 European Wrestling Championships in Belgrade, Serbia. Ligeti stands 1.92 metres tall and weighs 115 kilograms (254 lb). He is also currently a member of TuS Adelhausen in Rheinfelden, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and is coached by Istvan Gulyas from the national wrestling team.
Alin Alexuc-Ciurariu is an amateur Romanian Greco-Roman wrestler, who competes in the men's heavyweight category. He won one of the bronze medals in the 130 kg event at the 2022 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia. He is a member of CS Botoşani for the wrestling division, and is coached and trained by Victor Baciu.
Diána Klaudia Detre is a Hungarian windsurfer, who specialized in Neil Pryde RS:X class. A two-time Olympian, she has been currently training for Balatonfuredi Yacht Club in Balatonfüred under her coach Christophe Boutet. Detre also came from a traditional pedigree of top-class sailors, as her father Szabolcs Detre, along with his twin brother and daughter's uncle Zsolt Detre, captured a bronze medal in the Flying Dutchman at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. As of September 2013, Detre is ranked no. 79 in the world for the sailboard class by the International Sailing Federation.
Áron Gádorfalvi is a Hungarian windsurfer, who specializes in Mistral and Neil Pryde RS:X classes. He represented Hungary in all five editions of the Olympic Games since 1996, and has been training at Axon SE, Gradus SK, and Balatonfuredi Yacht Club in Balatonfured for most of his sporting career under personal coaches Lorand Utassy and László Ficsór. As of September 2013, Gádorfalvi is ranked no. 48 in the world for the sailboard class by the International Sailing Federation.

The Finn competition at the 2020 Summer Olympics was the men's one-person heavyweight dinghy event and was held in Enoshima, Japan, from 27 July to 3 August 2021. 19 sailors from 19 nations competed in 11 races, including one medal-race where points were doubled. The land venue was Enoshima Yacht Harbour and races were held on Sagami Bay.
