The African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, or the AME Zion Church (AMEZ) is a historically African-American Christian denomination based in the United States. It was officially formed in 1821 in New York City, but operated for a number of years before then. The African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church adheres to Wesleyan-Arminian theology.

It becomes co-signed with this route, heading just south of west. After a short distance, it diverges from the N2 and heads south-south-west. The route ends at Port Beaufort where it rejoins the R324.

The Langeberg Range is a mountain range in the Western Cape province of South Africa. Its highest peak is Keeromsberg at 2,075 m that lies 15 km northeast of the town of Worcester. Some of the highest peaks of the range are located just to the north of Swellendam, in a subrange known as the Clock Peaks whose highest point is the 1,710 m high Misty Point. Local lore states one can tell the time by means of the shadows cast by the seven summits of the Clock Peaks.

Buffeljagsriver is a river that originates where two other rivers meet, one being the Grootvadersbos River and the other the Tradou River. The confluence is just east of a small town, Suurbraak, Western Cape province. The Tredouw's Pass is situated just north of this meeting point. To the west of the town the river flows into the Buffeljags Dam, and the river then heads south to join the Breede River, not far from the Bontebok National Park.

Tradouw Pass is a pass through the Langeberg mountain range in South Africa. It is part of the R324 and is the main road between Swellendam and Barrydale in the Western Cape.
The Dutch Reformed Church in Barrydale is a congregation of the Dutch Reformed Church centered on the village of Barrydale in the picturesque surroundings of the Langeberg on the R62, 62.5 km (38.8 mi) south-east of Montagu, 76 km (47 mi) south-west of Ladismith and more or less equidistant through the Tradouw Pass from Swellendam and Heidelberg. In 2014, the congregation had 49 baptized and 211 professing members. In that year the pastor was Rev. W. J. van Zyl.
